Reviews of Johnny Rockets
"We were seated quickly and it didn’t take long to get our food, but not a good overall experience. My salad had more leafy greens than I could deal with and some of them were eight or nine inches long - I don’t usually want to use a knife on a salad but it would have been impossible to eat it without cutting the greens. Also they could use a visit from the health department - one of the cooks would use his phone while wearing the gloves he used to prep food without switching the gloves out. And my companion had a cookies n cream shake so why is there pink and red residue on the shake cup? We probably won’t return. We miss the ketchup smiley plate they used to have and that’s in a pic on the menu."
"Average burger. There was a lot of hype to it so I figured I’d try it since I’m here. I did the Johnny Burger. Sauce was good. Bun was great, too much onion. I realize that’s a personal preference but I also wasn’t asked. Service was really good but I know a lot better burger joints than this that I’d go back to. Worth at least one try though! Not bad food by any means! Just the hype surrounding the aura kinda disappeared once I bit into the burger. I don’t know if that makes any sense? But that was my experience."
"The place looks cool. That's about it. The waiter was nice, but after we got our food we were never asked if we needed refills or anything. The food was..... gross. To say it nicely. The cheese fries are covered in basically a nacho cheese sauce, which then leaves you to unedible soggy fries. I wouldn't have got them had I known it was literally a cheese sauce. I recommend adding some sort of description. The BLT I ordered was TINY! With like 2 pieces of bacon. Very plain."
"Johnny Rockets is.... an OK place to eat. There was a lot of hype surrounding it, and I feel it kinda lived up to it. The food isn't bad, but it's not great either. I did a Philly Cheese Steak and a burger during another visit. Neither knocked my socks off, but it was alright. People are friendly, the place is clean. It's a notch above fast food. A great place to take kids."
"We visited this location specifically because it had more stars than the others. I'll start by saying that the atmosphere was great here! We got sat down quickly by this lovely lady. Then, our server was super nice and joked around the whole time. So the service was great! What lacked was the food. I ordered the black bean burger, and it was just okay. There was something missing, and I couldn't figure out what, but I would not order that next time I'm in. The fries were your standard fries and tasted just fine. My husband's burger, however, wasn't as good either. He ordered the Spicy Texas with jalapeño and was feeling sick immediately after we left. My kid loves hot dogs, but no buns, and they did a great job at bringing over just cut hot dogs with fries. Now on to the shakes. We had to try the classic chocolate, and it was rich and thick enough that you could eat it with a spoon but liquid enough where you should be able to drink out of a straw but unfortunately they give you a thin straw so it was hard to drink out of until it melted. Overall, it was an okay experience. I guess I just had really high expectations for the food and was left a bit disappointed. Lastly, I'll talk about the price because I honestly could not believe everything was a la cart, and we had to order our side separately. Paying almost $10 for a burger with no fries makes no sense to me!"
