"Wow, great attention to detail with exceptional service this morning. Thank you so much for the surprise Penny’s puffs for my granddaughter, the fast and efficient service, with a whole bunch of hustle. What a well-oiled machine with fast staff. Great food. Drink refills without having to ask, before the drinks were empty. Thank you so much."
"I was recommended this restaurant for breakfast by a friend and it didn't disappoint. It was so hard to pick from their menu as so many options sounded good. I went with the pancakes and they came loaded with whipped cream and fresh fruit. I definitely can recommend!"
"I’m gonna be honest here, I was super excited to try this place out because it was recommended to me by a lot of people. The service was super quick and they were friendly. The food though, that is a different story entirely. To start we ordered the scone and some of the penny puffs, they were pretty good. It’s really hard to go wrong with fried bread. I ordered the PAC Benedict. A classical American dish of poached eggs, served on an English muffin with Canadian bacon and topped with a hollandaise sauce. What I was served was FAR from eggs bene in both terms of presentation AND flavor. To start the sauce is SUPPOSED be made with lemon juice and egg yolk. What I got was chicken broth with flour and what tasted like a touch of pre made scrambled eggs from a carton. It gelled up on my plate and curdled! Not thickened like you would expect from a hollandaise sauce. The bacon and eggs were cooked nicely, but it was served on a ham STEAK and a soggy Costco croissant! You could taste that the potato’s were freezer burned and what little of the croissant that wasn’t soggy was stale, not like toasted stale, like it had been sitting out on the counter stale. I was told everything was made in house, but I could tell my toast was the Costco sour dough loaf. This is a diner you’d think they’d be able to make a classic American dish. When I received my food it was cold, like it had sat on the counter before getting put in the window to be served. Absolutely NOT WORTH the price for the quality. We we’re gonna be using this restaurant for breakfast on each day of our trip, but we will NOT be returning!"
"It's a very nice and family oriented cafe. If you are going during the weekend, make a reservation, or you might be waiting between 30 to 40 minutes. Our waitress, Jazmin, is always fantastic with the service and her attention to detail. The food is good. I got the breakfast burger, and it was perfect. If you are going for brunch, it will keep you satisfied. My husband ordered the omelet with some side fries. He enjoyed it. It's a place absolutely worth your visit."
"This is a disappointing review to have to leave because we really wanted to enjoy this place, but we have to be honest. It's a Saturday, so the place was busy, which is to be expected. My husband and I reasonably waited 35 min for a table. But when it was time for us to be seated, the host slipped the menus onto the table and continued walking without saying a word. I nearly continued to follow her in a circle back to the front because it wasn't clear that was supposed to be our table. But we sat down and were able to order fairly promptly. I got a cup of coffee, and my husband and I asked to share a Florentine Benedict and a cup of oatmeal. Very small order. 40 minutes ticked by and not a single person checked on us. My coffee emptied and no one offered to refill it. We decided to flag down our waitress to suggest perhaps we had been forgotten because we had watched multiple tables that were seated after us be served, eat, and leave while we waited. The waitress seemed completely unsuprised, offered no apology and no coffee refill, but agreed to go check on our food. She came back and informed us that our ticket was "fourth in line". We asked her how long that would take and she said she didn't know but that the kitchen was very busy. We then had to ask to get the order to go because we only had a small window of time to be out. (We are caregivers for my mom in her advanced stages of dementia and our kind neighbor had offered to sit with her this morning to give us a chance to get out together. But it was approaching the lunch hour, and we needed to get back home and attend my mom.) Just wish we hadn't chosen this restaurant for that time away, which is really rare for us these days. Within 6 minutes, our single entree order was finally ready to go. Our waitress offered only excuses for the busy kitchen and handed us the check. My husband asked to speak to the manager who continued to give excuses for the busy kitchen and told him we shouldn't have come on a Saturday because that's their busiest day (as if we get a choice in when we get to leave the house). We can understand a busy kitchen, but the fact that tables were continuing to be served that were seated well after us, and we only ordered a single entree, we knew it was a mistake. But they wouldn't admit to that. The manager gave us $5 off the order, which came to $20 after tip. She also gave us two more $5 vouchers to use any time... better not be on a Saturday, though! I'm just grateful we didn't try to bring my mom with us, the chaos would not have been worth it. We were super hangry when we left with our to-go order. Got home to eat it, and the poached eggs are stiff and overcooked. Pancakes cold. Just not worth the $20 we spent for the hour and a half plus we wasted for this miserable experience. Abig part of me wonders if they wanted us to get frustrated and just leave since we had such a small order not worth their time and energy for such a small tip. Anyway, that really sucked. I hope our day gets better."
