Glenn J Kimber Academy
About the Business
Glenn J Kimber Academy is a unique educational institution located at 135 South State Street in Lindon, Utah, United States. As a private school, we offer a family-centered program that is unlike any other educational experience. Our mission is to empower parents to take control of their children's education, focusing on values of God, Family, and Country that are often overlooked in traditional educational systems.
At Kimber Academy, students of all ages have the opportunity to learn at their own pace and delve deeply into subjects that interest them. Our curriculum incorporates common religious principles into core subjects, helping students develop both academically and spiritually. We emphasize Constitutional principles and values, honoring America's Founding Fathers and teaching the 28 Principles of freedom.
Our personalized learning model allows students to be creative and develop a love of learning as they create their own textbooks and serve others through academics. With only 12 hours of instruction per week in core subjects, families have more time to work and play together. We invite you to explore our spiritually-oriented education and see if it aligns with your family's learning goals.
If you are interested in applying for the upcoming school year, please visit our website or contact us at our Lindon address. Join us at Glenn J Kimber Academy and experience a new adventure in education like never before.

"My kids have been attending Kimber for the last 3 years and we love it! This is an Academy that supports a parent led education. Parents remain the educators and responsible for their children's education. Kimber helps provide the extras that parents cannot do at home. They offer Kimber Towne (a student led entrepreneurial market), wonderful Spirit and Service Days, dance and singing opportunities in the community along with fun and educational extracurricular classes. This is all done in a safe and wholesome environment that focuses on Family, God and Country. The curriculum seeks to instill a love of learning along with 5 very important intrinsic values: 1) Learning how to apply scripture to everyday life with Religious Studies 2) Learning how to lose oneself in academic service with Language Arts 3) Learning how to think and self-govern using correct principles of Math 4) Learning how to search the scriptures with Science 5) Learning how to ponder in the heart God's relationship to mankind by studying History. Kimber classes are not like regular school classes where students are spoon fed and pushed through a system. Principles are taught and students are expected to use the principles and govern their own learning. They are taught in a way most likely to produce active learners and thinkers. Kimber is not an Academy for everyone. It is only for those willing to think outside the traditional school setting and willing to take responsibility for their own learning. That responsibility begins first with the parents and then passed completely to the student as they become a lifelong learner."
"I wish there was a Kimber Academy in every county. So impressed with this school and its wholesome practices. Kimber offers a strong vision of education centered on teaching children foundational American values and merit. I can't recommend them highly enough."
"Extremely positive environment. I love the focus is not just ensuring good principled material but also the entire educational approach is different than even most private schools where it encourages students at various ages and levels to help each other while also challenging for their own continued growth."
"This school set me and my entire class up for failure. Not a single student in my class graduated. During my time here we were moved to three different locations, always located in office/business locations and not a nurturing school environment. These frequent moves were confusing and traumatic as an adolescent. Core curriculum wasn't taught and was largely only LDS doctrine. Because of this school I ended up being years behind others my age in basic classes such as math, science, history, etc."
"I am so grateful to have a place for my children to learn about the world our Heavenly Father created for us. I love that I am able to be involved with my children on a whole new level while having a strong community to help my children learn how to serve others with the skills they are learning each day. I also enjoy all of the wonderful parents and children that we are able to associate with daily."
