"Their fried katsu is off-the charts moist and crispy. Mix it all with their teriyaki, rice, and macaroni, and soon you'll too become a Hawaiian food junkie."

"This place is great, I had it for the first time on Friday and I can’t wait to go back! The mini plate was plenty of food, the Mac salad was so good and their sauce is amazing! I had my first spam musubi, it was so interesting! The lady was nice!"
"Mahalo plenty to the lovely ladies at Big Sai's today. Came in today and they were so welcoming and friendly! The food "broke da mouf" it's so ono! That lillikoi cake is scrumptious!! Food and service is great! Thank you ❤️"
"I wanted to like this place but there are a LOT of issues! The older lady taking my order must've been having a bad day, she was visibly upset, and was very angry, sour, and impatient with me even though I was the only person in the store at the time. The second lady was nicer by comparison but I was already wishing I hadn't ordered by the time I paid. I got the guava cake and for a 3x3 inch slice, it was DRY and HARD, not moist and fresh like how I had it last time I came here. Do not order the cake, it is very deceiving and you won't know until you've paid $5.50 to take their old food to the garbage where it should have gone in the first place. I had the short ribs too and there was a healthy portion of meat which was the only good thing I can come up with. Unfortunately it was soggy and limp, feeling more like a boiled hot dog and less like fresh charred ribs off if the grill that I am accustomed to from any other Hawaiian grill. I can't tell if it was from swimming in the teriyaki sauce all day or if they needed a little more time on the grill. Last but not least, the high tables were sticky and the trash cans were full despite how rather clean the rest of the room was. I think this is just how the restaurant was today and not how it normally is. The $31 hole in my pocket for one person was quite pricey and the service and food I got in return was pitiful and a let-down from my expectations coming in. I hope they'll do better next time!"
