"Staff made cheered us up and made us feel very welcome! Great experience."
"Can someone tell me how it is so hard to read a screen and check a bag to make sure all the items are correct and present? I find it interesting that people in this industry want more money, but can not get stuff right the first time. No business would consider more of anything if they're employees can not get stuff right. It's basic reading and mathematic skills. A 6yo can do both better than these people I have encountered. Sad!!!!"
"We go to this location regularly because it is closest to home. Want to get the food home as soon as possible. Usually pretty good, but the reason for my low scores? 1) Frosty's are NEVER thick. 2) The frequent missing item, either it's spoon, napkins or food. 3) You buy a meal and you have to check to make sure the right sandwich is in the right bag. 4) Price increases I understand. A few cents but a dollar at a time. Seems like prices are slightly higher at this location. Yes, I have worked in the fast food industry so I know it's possible to fix these things. I do understand food and labor and other expenses. So owners are making nickels and dimes on some things but I also understand some things like soft drinks are extremely inflated, among other things."
"We were ordering in the Drive-through and only ordered two of the 4 meals we needed when we were cut off and couldn’t order the rest of our food we would have liked. I find it very rude to be rushed when we weren’t even at the window for 2 minutes. My husband couldn’t even finish at the window because we always get the oh we can’t add anything at the window for you. I understand there is a drive-through time that must be met but treat your customers better and let them finish."
"Would you like two burger patties on your doublestack? How about zero burger patties on your doublestack, because that's just one thing that was messed up about our order. Here's how it went, while ordering at the drive-thru, I mentioned that we had the keychains that give you free jr. frosties. I barely said the word "keychains" when the guy cut me off and told me that the frosty machine was broken. Then as I get closer to the pick up window, I see the employee handing frosties to the car in front of us. Then when I get to the window I see an employee filling two more frosties. So I confronted them and told them that they just told me the machine was broken and that I just watched them fill two. The kid looked at me like he didn't know what to say and then said "I didn't tell you that", I guess he wasn't on the ordering side of things. The other kid that did take the order was standing there and he disappeared real fast. I told him that he needed to add the five I initially tried to order. He went away and finished getting the food and then just handed it to me like that was going to be all. He forgot our drinks and he was trying to ignore the frosties. When I asked about them, he told me that they were unable to just make them without them being on the order. I explained that they would have been on the order if the person didn't lie to me to try to avoid having to make them. I asked for a manager and was told he was busy, so I asked if I needed to come in the store, but he finally said he would bring them out. He brought three, not five, but by this time I was so bothered that I didn't look. If you don't want to honor the keychains, then don't sell them (I bought them from this location). We got home to realize that we didn't count correctly and were sold an extra meal. It took a minute because they didn't give a receipt but it was clear from the total that they charged us for it. That's when we realized that one of the doublestack burgers we received was nothing but a bun, two pickles, and some ketchup (see photo). So the extra meal we paid for went to our daughter. Fries were cold, but this could have been due to the time wasted trying to deal with the other issue. My hunch is that they would have been cold anyway based on the dumpster fire that could describe everything else. I know it's crazy to write a review about Wendy's, but I hope that someone with some accountability for this location sees this and realizes that the staff running their restaurant in the evenings is driving it into the ground. Until now, we would drive further to this location because the location by Walmart in Syracuse became a mess like this long ago. I honestly wouldn't have been upset enough to take the time to write this if they didn't lie to my face and get caught in the process. Here’s one last tip for anyone who is reading this having had a similar experience, if your order is over $50 you can legally dispute the charge with your credit card issuer and your entire purchase will likely be credited back to you. As a consumer, you can do this if the restaurant over charges you, bills you for products not received, and even if the quality is unacceptable."
