"Great Mexican food. This was our favorite restaurant in Claremore for many years before the recent explosion in number of restaurants, but it's still up there. Great salsa and staff. Reasonably priced."

"A good, solid OkieMex restaurant. On our previous visit, we were very pleased with the food and service. I had the Chilis Poblano; large peppers filled with chicken and covered with cheese. A huge meal, with enough left over for tomorrow. I didn’t check to see if they were still on the menu, but if they are I recommend them. We are back. Today we selected from the lunch menu. The El Maguey menu has many combinations; still offered at bargain prices. We had two #1 lunch specials (a chili relleno, beef taco and beans) and two sodas. It all came in at pennies under $20 (without a tip) Filling plates of delicious Mexican food. El Maguey is still one of the best Mexican restaurants in Claremore.
