"A beautiful, enriching environment for children. This school focuses on the education of the whole child. There is an associated preschool called Creekside Kinderclass. The Waldorf philosophy does not push academics on young children before they are ready. Instead, this school awakens and encourages curiosity in children. They are encouraged to create and explore their world. The school is located adjacent to a wonderful county park. Some disc golf players resent the fact that the children can access the park with their classes or when walking to and from school. But Creekside Park is not exclusively a disc golf course as they would wish. It is available for the enjoyment of all residents, especially children. The woods and the creek are a wonderful resource for school children to explore nature and learn about the world. Children need open spaces to play, explore, and learn. Wasatch Charter School and Creekside Kinderclass provide a rich educational environment where children flourish. Photos of my daughter enjoying the school grounds and the adjacent public park."
"Consistently poor supervision. Kids run amuck in the park, getting into dangerous situations, with no teachers in sight. I would never send my kids there."
"My son was having issues in the public school so we finally found this charter school which has made such a positive impact not only in his little life, but for our whole family. I am very happy with all of the staff and just could not believe the level of attention the school nurse took while looking over his asthma paperwork. She contacted me to make sure everything was good to go, and even asked if I would have the doctor outline a few things in detail so all staff would have a clear understanding to ensure the well being and safety of my son which was a huge issue for the public school to understand, and this lady so go it!"
"Such a poorly planned school and location, as so many new charter schools are. The pickup is ridiculous, clogs the road and nearby park. Lazy parents cut through the disc golf park and put their kids in danger of being hit. During school hours they let the kids run into the course and in the path of the players. So dangerous! Parents are probably unaware."
