"This Smiths location... ESPECIALLY the money center is WORTHLESS. I grocery shop at Macey's because everything about it is just SO much better. Less crowded, cleaner, better quality.. But every once in a while I will go to Smith's for the money center. Last time I sat there standing forever (no one was at the counter) while multiple other employees and cashiers just STARED at me.. No one asked if I had been helped or attempted to find the person working the Money Center. Once I finally asked someone the guy returned and said he was "on break" but left no note or anything and couldn't even cash the check because it was a settlement check. Against my better judgement I returned to the Money Center for BALLOONS. Seems so simple but yet I was told by the lady working the counter "the "balloon lady" left at 3". No attempt to even ask around or find someone who MAY be able to fill balloons. The customer service at this location is SEVERLY lacking. Turned around and went to Macey's like I should have from the start and they got me taken care of."
"Very disappointed in the store. We placed an order last night and early this morning found out it was cancelled. I could barely understand the message the girl left in the Smith store but I believe she said they had callouts. We placed a pretty big order and we’re going to pick it up after church.it’s just not good business."
"We were able to find everything we were looking for, and didn’t face any issues in the store. This place is quite popular, and there were lines at all cashier lanes and self-checkout."
"I recently tried my first Smith’s online grocery order and will never again. They messed it up worse than Walmart ever had in my opinion. I ordered a bunch of things that were on sale on Thanksgiving Day. I didn’t have to have them, I just wanted to stock up because of the good price. On the app when I checked out it showed me the sale price and I approved the final price of the order. Fast forward to the following week when I picked up my order. They had gone into my account and charged me an extra nearly $100 (which I did not approve) and had charged me full price for all of those sale items. I was not aware of this until I got home and was looking at my account later. I called customer service several times. Each time they told me I’d need to talk to the online order manager. I’ve tried to call the online order manager multiple times but never get an answer. Whatever I approve of paying in the app should be exactly what comes out of my account. And if I pick up my groceries after the sale ends (even though I ordered them during the sale) somebody/something should have told me that I didn’t get the sale price. Poor transparency and poor customer service. Can’t even reach anyone who will talk to me about this. I won’t be shopping at this location again."
"They used to be the best local smiths but that has changed now. They are TERRIBLE at pulling items that are about to expire, I have accidentally made it home with already expired items and they never even made it to Managers Special. Speaking of, since the remodel, they don’t have a reduced frozen shelf anymore and everything else that gets reduced, gets put into random carts that take up isle space in the front of the store. They were better off before the remodel. ALSO, apparently you can’t return NON food items that have been reduced. “It’s the store managers policy”….even though it’s not posted anywhere. However, it’s acceptable at the 90th and highland location so just go there if you want to shop at smiths."
