La Hacienda Draper

"I’ve heard so much about La Hacienda & after our recent Mexican restraint flop, we were excited for a new place! This place did not disappoint! I think they have a few locations. We ended up at the Draper location for dinner. Service was soo quick! We ordered a magarita & pina colada. Both were really good. Chips & salsa were good, I wish they brought out more chips. We went through these pretty quickly. For dinner, we ordered Asada Tacos. We really liked them. The green sauce that comes with these was really good. We also ordered a smothered burrito, which we thought had pork inside it, but instead it just had chile verde sauce on the top of it. So it was just a bean & cheese burrito. Not exactly what we were thinking, but it was our fault for not reading the menu more clearly. The chile verde sauce had really good flavor. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with red sauce, I’m not big on red sauce & wish I would have picked out the pork on the chile verde sauce instead. I’ll definitely order it with chile verde sauce next time. Our meals were delivered within 5 minutes of us ordering it. The service was soo quick! Prices were very reasonable. Definitely recommend."

"La Hacienda is a pretty standard Mexican restaurant with good food across the board. Chips and salsa are always on the table, and the salsa is awesome. I ordered a combination plate with a beef chimichanga and pork tamale. Both were good. The service is always prompt and the food comes out quickly. It's a good fast sit-down restaurant. The parking lot is pretty tight and is shared by a few other restaurants, so be mindful while navigating. Overall, I enjoy La Hacienda and will eat here again."

"Upon my inaugural day as a resident of Utah, transitioning from a lifelong Texan background, my expectations for quality Mexican cuisine were low. However, upon entering this establishment, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean and inviting ambiance and the amiable demeanor of the staff, reflective of Utah's overall hospitality. The salsa served with the chips exceeded my expectations, setting a promising tone for the meal. Opting for the Tamales with a cheese topping from a selection of three sauces, I was initially pleased with the presentation but disappointed to find green chili sauce beneath the cheese, a flavor profile that did not align with my preferences. Despite this setback, I plan to revisit the restaurant, ensuring clear communication of my preferences when placing my order. Overall, it was a positive dining experience, and I look forward to exploring other items on the menu with precise specifications."

"I had the combination Fajitas (Beef, Chicken & Shrimp) and my wife had the Pork Carnitas. We were seated rather quickly, their chips and salsa were pretty decent. I’m no Mexican expert but it tasted fresh, almost can’t go wrong with fresh. Our meals were really good and the tortillas were soft, our food was well seasoned and we were full! BUT.. Our waitress took forever to get us our checks and refilled our drinks once.. That’s not great service. I would definitely come back because the food was good, but don’t leave us hanging man. My wife loved it but she could eat Mexican every night so."
