Reviews
"school is crappyhahaha"
"Both of my kids attended here from Kindergarten. My daughter did well, my son would just walk out of class when he got bored. Multiple times he was chased by a neighbor, once my friend noticed him alone on the street & once he walked down to Redwood before a stranger saw him & walked him back to school! They didn't even call to notify me. He'd leave to play on the playground too. That was years ago though. I'm sure things are different."
"Could use help with figuring out my daughters progress, she goes to Truman and parent teacher conference is held at Taylorsville Elementary."
"I'm saddened to write this review since I went to Taylorsville Elementary and all my brothers and sisters went to this school. I've always been proud of this school. I was excited to of bought a house in the Taylorsville Elementary bounds so that my kids could go to the school. Now I have regret and debating over transferring my kids to attend Vista Elementary. The drop off and pick up situation is horrendous! They have two crosswalks that go north to south. One is located on 2130 w. and the 2nd located just west of 1922 w. If you do not use one of these 2 crosswalks you will be yelled at and be called names in reference to being a bad parent. Since my kid's classroom is in the very middle of these two crosswalks, they walk with me in hand, across the street to line up for school (this is also a slow, neighborhood school zone street). I, along with several other parents, are then screamed at for not walking down street blocks to walk across one of the 2 crosswalks. I deal with this every morning. If I were rating this school just on the school itself, my rate would be a 4. Because of the unorganized drop off situation and the rudeness and abuse you get after dropping your child off at school, I give it a 2."
"it's a great school and the staff and teachers are great"
