"Overall I'm pretty happy with Happy Teriyaki, though I'm not sure it will be a new "go-to" fast casual restaurant for me. I do think it makes it on the rotation list to revisit when I'm in the area because the price was comparable to other restaurants in the area and I was satisfied with the large portion size. I went with a combo bowl of rice with orange and teriyaki chicken. I loved the teriyaki but wasn't a huge fan of the orange chicken, which was a little too close to chicken nuggets with orange sauce for me. I will say the service was great and the woman taking our order and bringing out our food was very helpful and friendly. Definitely a good spot for a casual lunch with coworker or friend, but maybe not quite date night vibes."

"Being from Washington state, i really missed good teriyaki since Utah’s teriyaki game was horrible (oily and runny sauce). This place is the best teriyaki in the WORLD. The chef is from Seattle and has the recipe from the Korean immigrants that created the best sauce in the world. Perfect grilled chicken, thinnly sliced, with dreamy teriyaki sauce. I teared up, because it brought me back home to the Pacific Northwest and their world renowned teriyaki. It’s the real deal - 6/5 stars!!!"

"I ordered a bowl today. This is what was underneath when I took the chicken katsu off! This is not worth ten dollars for a bowl of rice! I called to ask why there weren't any vegetables on it. Her response was "I should have ordered the half veggie half rice option and that people don't like vegetables". Good to know that it was my fault! Not only was it just rice, the taste was just mediocre. I won't be going there ever again!"

Positives: super clean, boba tea drink was great, food was hot and fresh, staff was friendly, efficient, and pleasant. A little more flavor and a more steamed veggies in my bowl would have made this five stars."

"We got the orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. The portions are filling. The service is quick and the food is very flavorful! Cody is super nice and offers fantastic customer service! They have just moved to this location from Idaho! The store is clean and the menu is easy to read! The rice is sushi rice, very yummy."
