Jim's

"While I know prices have skyrocketed due to inflation, I would think that the food would be top notch. This was not the case here at Jim's in West Valley City, Utah today Friday, March 22, 2024. I, ordered Biscuits and Gravey the Gravey was good. The biscuits were not soft, rather hard. I am comparing this dish to another Restaurant East of this location, which is Ogie's. Also I, asked to substitute eggs for fruit, which cost me extra. In other Restaurants such as Denny's I do not get charged extra for this request. Additionally, the fruit had too much liquid in the saucer. Photo of the liquid to follow"

"This is a good restaurant for breakfast food in my opinion. It has a chill atmosphere and is frequented by an older crowd which is fine with me. The food is good and service is fast. Check them out!"

"Went on Valentine Day , wasn't to crowded when I went but they were very understaffed,waitress was literally running from table to table. My steak was tough, but overall not to bad of a dinner, I know if I wanted a great steak should of gone to a steakhouse. Things as they are, fair price for what I got ,I do like Jim's but will prob stick to there yummy breakfasts."

"I don't like being charged extra and not being told about it. Something so simple could have been avoided. They added an upcharge of $1.99 for a single biscuit and Gravy and was not told about it. I noticed it on the bill after the fact. Not cool, just mention it and let me make the decision. Awww well. I might be back, I might not. There are plenty of options in this field that won't pull this bait and switch type tactic or are better trained in the service aspect."

"We found Jim's after a quick search on Google of good breakfast spots in the area we recently stayed at in SLC. The food was great and lots of it. My husband is a sucker for good corned beef hash and they had a great dish of it. The fajita steak omelet was so flavorful and cooked just perfectly. They kept the coffee coming and our waitress was awesome! So personable and friendly. We definitely will be going back the next time we are in the area. Come hungry, there is plenty of food choices on the menu that are sure to please anyone."
