Carol, the Manager, helped us tonight even though we arrived at closing time (9pm) and the team had had a super busy day… they know how to take care of customer and continue to earn our business. Try the desserts… they’re amazing!"

"Traveling on I15 ordered food online. It was ready when I got there. Given to me by a friendly staff member. Restaurant is located in a gas station but it very clean and a place to eat in."

"This is definitely the worst experiences we’ve ever had at a food establishment. We stopped at Maverick and then decided to hurry through the drive up window so we could get back on the road. To start off with, the drive up window was closed. We decided to go Inside and if the line wasn’t to long we would hurry and order, HUGE MISTAKE. There were about 10 people in line, shouldn’t be to bad. We frequent Costa Vida a lot in St George and know the routine. We’ve owned a successful restaurant for years so we understand things can get hectic and you have lines walk in you don’t expect. We know how hard it is to find people that want to work. When it comes down to it, because of our experiences, we are pretty understanding. What we experienced here is just too much to even explain. Employees were all in seriously slow motion. There was ZERO urgency. By the time we made it up to the ordering spot were literally stood there over 15 min just waiting to order. We weren’t waiting because the employees were working hard on orders. They literally kept strolling into the back, not working, just disappearing. The employees spent a lot of time gazing out the CLOSED Drive up window. I can’t even explain how bizarre this experience was. We just kept looking at each other and saying, “is this really happening”? The employees acted like robots and the entire place was dirty. My Baja Bowl, ended up being a salad further down the line. They loaded it up with a giant amount of water soggy lettuce. Since it started out a Baja bowl, it didn’t have a shell in the bottom. It was floating in water when I opened it because there wasn’t a shell to soak up the sog. The only employee that didn’t keep walking off was the older women that was on the register. She was doing everything she could do but she was only one person. It will be a long time before we can stomach Costa Vida again, but we will never stop at this location again. SERIOUSLY, even if you’re starving, just drive to the next exit."

"The First Lady was very polite. The second lady rushed me to pay before my food was done. Not allowing me to ask for add ons before paying. It was as if she was angry at someone and she was taking it out n e. I did ask for lettuce, pico and jalapeños. Her response was, “we charge for those things. They aren’t free here.” Of course I would pay for it but her rude response through me off. She was so abrupt that she made me feel uncomfortable. I was the only person in line. It was 11:15 an when I walked in. This young woman had a filthy uniform with a dish clothe around her neck. How could someone be covered in food at open? She didn’t change her gloves after handling the money. She spoke to me like I was an annoying little sister. I wanted to leave after getting a refund. Instead I collected my things and left. It’s not the first time I have been disappointed with Fillmore, UT. Costa but I have never been treated so badly at a restaurant."
