"I debated posting a review but now that we’re in a different school, everyone is noticing my son is a totally different kid and it’s 100% because we changed schools - he’s significantly happier, 100x more talkative, excited about school, likes his teachers, talks about his friends, tells us stories, and is doing a lot more activities. It makes me sad we didn’t make a change sooner. I will say that the directors try really hard to make it a good school but the owner is terrible and it’s clear he prioritizes making money over the kids. I outlined reasons we left (listed below) in an email to the owner and his response speaks volumes about why we left. He said: “I can sense your frustration. It appears that we might be unable to meet your family's needs at this time… I have been made aware of the account of your concerns and experiences with staff during your time at Oasis, and I think it would be a good idea if you began looking for care elsewhere, hopefully a center that can fully meet your needs.” Reasons we moved on: - Inconsistent teachers and classes run by mostly floaters. This made it extremely difficult for a 1 and 3 year old to feel safe and trust the people caring for them. My son is shy when he’s around unfamiliar people and I’m pretty sure he’d go all day without an adult talking to him. - Teachers sit around all the time, look at their phones, and make the kids come to them. We also experienced one teacher in particular that had very clear favorites and several teachers that were just unfriendly toward the kids/clearly didn’t want to be there. - Prices have gone up over $120 per week, per kid in the 2 years we’d been at Oasis - that’s an extra $480 a month per child while the quality of care and education has significantly decreased. - No learning despite them providing “lesson plans” and we rarely had updates in the app. Most of the time the teachers couldn’t tell us about our kids’ day at pickup. - On that note, every time we came in, it didn’t feel like an educational space - it feels like a free-for-all daycare. Likely because there’s no consistent teachers to actually keep a schedule. - This is NOT a true Montessori school. - The ratios often aren't up to code. Both my kids’ classes were consistently over ratio and I even had a teacher tell me that her having 18 kids to one teacher in the 3 year old class was ok."
"We recently left Oasis after about 3 years due to a move out of the area but we absolutely loved it there. The teachers of both our children were great at communicating with me an my wife with what was going on in the classroom and any concerns we had. While we were there, an ownership and subsequently an administration change took place. We noticed a dramatic improvement on all fronts after this change. We definitely recommend Oasis and would still have our kids enrolled there if we hadn't moved."
"We love Oasis! My daughter has been attending for over a year and in that time they had switched owners but all the changes have been for the better. My little girl loves going to class and learning new things. Her language skills have grown a lot as well as her social skills. We love her teachers and I get hear from my little one daily about how she loves her teachers and friends. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I know my child is well taken care of when I’m not around. We will be enrolling our next baby once he is around a year because of the experience we’ve had with our daughter. Hands down the best place for your child to go."
"I have had my kids enrolled at Oasis for four years and have had such a great experience! My daughter has loved all her teachers in each cycle she has been in! Her favorite was Ms. Audrey! I wish she could be with all my kids! I have new twins that started a few months ago and with Ms. Jodie and Ms. Anna. They are the greatest and make me feel comfortable leaving my babies with them. They are so sweet and helpful. Plus I always I have someone to help me carry the twins out to the car which is so great because carrying both out by myself is not easy! And now only the teachers but also owners and directors are always helpful and easy to talk to. They have made ours experience at oasis amazing! Would would highly recommend bringing your kids to oasis. They keep everything so clean and organized and have such a great system of teaching. My daughter was doing kindergarten work before she even started kindergarten. They also teach different languages and sign language which is awesome! Before my daughter started talking she communicated a lot with us with the sign language she learned at oasis. I couldn’t see my taking my kids anywhere else!"
