"Incredible service and company. I love the sprout pellets for my yearling. He's put on weight nicely, has no digestion issues and is growing into a beauty! I transitioned him to pellets after being fed hay at the breeders as I have limited space to keep feed. I would recommend keeping a tarp over the bag for rain and snow and placing it on a pallet to keep in dry underneath. My favorite thing about the company is getting my order in just a few days from when I place it. Friendly and quick delivery from a local company I'm happy to support with my business. "I used the sprout pellets for about a year give or take. At first it was amazing- delivery was consistent same time each month. Horses adjust well and looked great. Then we started having mold issues (almost all summer we had mold issues) one month they did say they had an issue with their dryer. They gave us a handful of small bags for the inconvenience- would have been nice to replace the order as product was moldy within a day or two of arrival so it was not due to our care. we were going through 3-4 1500 lb totes a month. Then my horses started not looking so hot (we never fed bad pellets) one horse started dropping weight- drastically- worried he was sick.... turns out it was the pellets. Back on hay and he looks amazing- all of my larger built horses (quarter horses not drafts) had dropped weight and just didn't look great. Our horses all went from looking great to under fed in about a month. Anyone with horses knows we work hard to make them look great and be healthy! So paying for something that drastically changes that has to go. (and costs an arm and a leg) My feed bill is almost in half feeding hay vs pellets- even with hay prices so high right now. we feed 14 head so it can leave a dent. all of my horses are back to looking glossy and happy with hay. Bottom line- they are way more expensive then almost any other option. Delivery was nice but dealing with bag changes and discovering they sweat or were not weather proof was incredibly frustrating. our bill went up nearly monthly and almost was never notified. free delivery changed to being charged. I know they are newer and are trying to figure things out. hopefully in a few years they can get things nailed down. But won't sacrifice our horses health while it is figured out. you don't know the quality of hay being purchased to go into the pellets. can't pay premium price for a product that is not consistently premium. Wanted to love them and we did at first"

"I contacted them to make sure they will deliver to me and they said they would so I made an order and had given instructions on how to deliver to my place out in the country. I also called and gave instructions, (I ended up needing to give instructions again to them multiple times as it seems they do not communicate this information with one another not save it.) They said they will deliver in a few days, over a week goes by and nothing so I had to call. They said a few more days... another week and nothing. I call again and they say a few more days, but a few days later they call me to tell me they will not deliver to my place even though they deliver to places around me and much further than me. They told me I can come pickup the feed, I asked them to text me the address, times, and instructions for picking up... couple days go by and nothing. So I decided to write this review of my very poor experience with them which is unfortunate because I was happy about having a place nearby to get feed, unfortunately their very poor performance and communication will end any business I will do with them in the future and most likely may end up cancelling my order. I will be trying to contact them again in attempt to just get the feed I paid for as it is coming up to a month since my order which was promised to be shipped to me within a few days of ordering. Lowe's, Home Depot, FedEx, UPS, and many others routinely deliver to my ranch and most of them are twice the distance or more from me than Medalist so I do not see why Medalist can't deliver, especially after they had guaranteed they could in the first place."
