"This is to follow up on John’s reply, stating that he would contact me regarding this “miscommunication”. The only time he has contacted me, is through mail with a letter stating that my home owners insurance will be cancelled if I don’t pay the additional funds now that he has upped our insurance premium. He continues to be a stand up man. My husband and I requested a home owners insurance quote from John Buchanan in March. We were given the quote through email and it was never mentioned to us over the phone or in documentation that the quote was contingent on having an auto policy with Country Financial as well. We signed our closing documents in April based on the original quote that was emailed to by John. Fast forward to May and we are now being told that our home owner insurance will now be increased by 25% if we do not get an auto policy through them. This is classic bait and switch and John Buchanan and Country Financial are dishonest are best. Do not use them for your insurance needs. There are plenty of honest companies out there."
