Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Oklahoma City Airport

"We chose the fairfield because everywhere else were expensive no breakfast was offered, the initial rate was good when the front desk said total for the room was $204.00 and breakfast is served from 9 to 10am, we went downstairs at 9 and a lady was. Leaning up and didnt look happy at all, told us that breakfast was over bc they had a group that was contracted with the hotel and breakfast started at 4am ended at 9am. First of all, this would of been great to know we normally dont think of eating breakfast at 4am. This was not our fault that they have these groups but would of been great to let us know in advance. Not happy at all about the fact that we were not notified about the breakfast changes, but also at time of check out, i see thr charhe statement and they charge-$11.23 occupancy tax- $9.18 state occupancy tax -$8.42 city tax plus 15.00 parking-onsite not a garage. After all these undesclosed charges, they sent me a statement that had a charge of $247.82 but when i look at my bank they charged $260.00, so when i called to ask, the lady said it would 7 to 10 days to refund the difference and for me to call my bank. So bottom line before you book with them ask them what are all the surprising fees they are gonna charge you before you make a reservation, they make it sound like a great deal but they get you at check out. All these dumb taxes are ridiculous. Never again will i book with Marriot ............."

"The room was.. ok. We stay at various Marriott hotels fairly regularly, this one was subpar.. as seen in the pictures, the desk lamp was broken, the bulb hanging by the wires; the piping on the duvet was torn. And as someone with neurodivergent issues, that picture on the wall that just looked like a horrible mess of coffee stains and drove me nuts."

"The furniture in my room was very old and the desk nearly fell over when I set my laptop down due to broken legs. The internet didn’t work in my room due to weak WiFi signal and the front desk was completely unhelpful and rude. She said “well if there’s something wrong with your phone and computer I can’t help you.” I have a brand new computer and phone with no WiFi issues anywhere else but ok lady. They were sold out and so a room switch wasn’t an option. I was there for work and spend 8-10 hours a day on the computer. Having stayed at Marriott hotels over 100 nights a year the last 5 years I am aware of what their “tech support” is able and not able to do. Because the WiFi coverage was so weak in my room I had to move because I would not be able to do my job. I called my titanium elite customer service and they offered to switch my hotel and have the first hotel reimburse the difference. After a week had gone by with no communication I called customer service to see if the credit had been issued. I was told the GM of this hotel denied the credit for difference in fare because their internet did in fact work and I didn’t call customer support. Really?? I’ve been Marriott loyal for years and this is what their customer service has devolved into over the last 2 years. I’m sure another hotel chain will be more than happy to take my 100+ nights a year."

"It was a GREAT place to stay- the rooms were well appointed,quiet, and the frt desk at 10 pm couldn't have been nicer. We had an early flt and this place is so convenient to the airport, it will be my choice next time I'm in OKC!"

"On 9/9 I had to get a room for my wife from a bad flight experience. I had to do this from 600 miles away. The lady working the front desk (I don't remember her name) was amazing to work with! When I called to make sure I did everything right she told me "don't worry I got her". It made my wife's otherwise horrible day so much better. I can't say enough about how helpful she was. I wish there was more people like this in the world."
