American inn 601 North 1st Street, Madill, OK 73446

"Not quite a 5 star place. The room was very nice. Looked to have been remodeled recently. I travel for work often. I have very minor issues with the place and one semi major issue. The minor issues do not reflect the star rating just small things I found. The room was nice, large bed with nice pillows. I check the room for cleanliness and was happy. The facet switch to shower did take a few minutes to work and emitted a slight squeal noise. It went away after a few minutes. The water got hot quickly and the pressure was great. A inconvenience I ran into was the red Tesla parked at the front door. I’m going to assume it was the owners or managers. If customers needed to pull in and go in some one with be left in the parking lot. It wasn’t a big deal but it seems unprofessional. My biggest deal was the bed. It was hard. I personally don’t like firm mattresses but it made it hard to sleep. I don’t think a super firm mattress is what people are looking for. But that is my opinion. The bed was the worst about it. The other things are small take sways that don’t really bother me. American Inn if you read this please get softer mattresses. Hope this helps Thank you."

"The owners have spent a lot upgrading this place. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here this year. Family & staff are very nice & very helpful. The only complaint is the breakfast is all simple, sugary carbs. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel."

"So I get in at midnight man up front comes up to desk, gave me my keys, walked in my room and it smelled super good, fresh and it was clean, bed is comfy! Shower/tub combo is awesome! The pool is 3-5 foot deep! Even with it being 110 the pool temp is cool!! Hotel is clean unlike other hotels I've stayed at so that was such a relief! Very nice and kind family who staff and run this hotel! Definitely worth coming here for work! Water fall up by lobby, and turtles painted on the bottom of the pool which I thought was cool! Great place to stay!!"

"Had an unexpected last minute stay for several days. The room was very clean and nice, bed was comfy. I had to sleep during the day and there was not any loud noises that I could hear that would have woken me up. The free breakfast was good, loved the waffles. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again."

"The staff was so helpful, welcoming, and nice. The hotel was CLEAN! The room smelled fresh, the lobby was well lit and friendly. Breakfast was light yet filling. I love that it was family oriented. This was a there for business but I could see myself bringing my daughters to stay with me next time to swim. The neighborhood seemed peaceful and safe. I highly recommend this hotel. Special thank you to the lovely lady and man at the front who were very attentive to our needs. Their daughters were so well behaved and well mannered! It warms my heart to see such lovely families!"
