Holiday Inn Express & Suites North Shamrock TX 101 East 13th Street, Shamrock, TX 79079

"We did an over night here passing through. Very displeased. I card to ask if we could get a top floor. The older gentleman I spoke with immediately responded say they had nothing on the top floor and they had us on the second floor. I said no room types of any kind on the top floor and he said no, they had a full house. I hear no typing going on. We arrived standing waiting to check in and the young guy at the front desk asked the guys in front of us if he wanted a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor. My husband spoke up and said you just told my wife on the phone no rooms on the top floor. The young guy said they just had three cancellations. Oh ok sure. We got to put room did our normal bed check and when I went into the bathroom I noticed the floor was dirty with hair all over and on the tub and chips on the tub. We had read where it was newly remolded that why we stayed. When I went to wash my hands the drain stopper was broke. The next day I was using the bathroom before we checked out and way before check and I heard the door open. Thinking it was y husband I said is that you? No answer !! I quickly went out and knew it has to be house keeping. I found house keeping and asked who entered my room. She denied it then admitted it. My error I didn’t have the safety latch however she has no right to enter while guests is still there. I reported to the front desk and I could tell they really didn’t care. We definitely will not be staying again."

"Terrible experience with manager Robert and front desk rep who was a female. They assumed my dog wasn’t a service Dog and told me that they do not allow pets. I have stayed at this location more than 3 times due to me traveling all the time for work and never experience this before. i will never stay at this location again. On top of that I'm an elite customer and they didn’t honor my preference of staying on the first floor which they had rooms available on first floor. The female rep ask Robert can they honor my preference he said no and put me on third floor. I went to room and came back downstairs to get remainder bags and i over hear female rep asking another customer Do they prefer to stay on any floor. Just terrible customer service!"

"Clean room, friendly people, but bad hotel. Room was 85 degrees at check in and took hours to cool. Breakfast was empty most of the time. Laundry room mid 80s style. Way below what we expect from a Holliday inn at this price."

"We happen to stop here for the night only because we were getting tired from a long drive. Check in was smooth. Not many cars on property yet we were put on 3rd loor. Room had several issues. Bathroom door would not stay shut. Water pressure was very limited. Taking a shower, I could have used a garden hose instead of shower head. Very low pressure. A nail was sticking up from the threshold in Bathroom. Almost stepped on it. Continental breakfast was terrible. We went down at 7am there were no eggs, potatoes were scarce and what little was there was burnt. So just took a banana and coffee."

"My room was good, they must have fixed all the problems mentioned from previous reviews. I was tired and didn't take pics. But 3rd floor is great. No kids can be heard jumping on the beds! A/c was Ice cold. No critters. Bed and pillows were firm, no saggy mattress/box spring. Check out at noon, big plus for me as I drove late into the night. I'd stay again!"
