"My kids have been participating in activities here for 2.5 years and we LOVE it. It is more than just a fun sport to do to get some exercise. The self confidence and discipline fostered here has carried over into my kids' home life in an amazing way. The program has many at home elements built into it to encourage positive behavior at home and school. Kids are given recognition for positive behavior at home and have to complete specific chores or manner challenges in order to test for their next belt level. The instructors are wonderful, both at teaching taekwondo and at being positive role models for the kids. My kids had a birthday party there recently and I heard from many parents afterward about how impressed they were with the way the instructors were interacting with the kids. They have a wonderful way of using encouragement and modeling while still holding the kids accountable for their behavior.
