SportForward

SportForward is a global institution located at 115 East Gray Street, Norman, Oklahoma, United States. Our mission is to use the power of sport to change the world, one relationship at a time. Inspired by Nelson Mandela's belief that sport has the ability to bring about positive change, we aim to empower communities through values, education, and peace-building initiatives.

Since 1992, SportForward has worked in 65 countries, implementing various sports programs that have impacted lives and built meaningful cross-cultural relationships. From training local mentors in refugee camps in Pakistan to empowering women and girls through basketball in the Arabian Peninsula, our programs focus on creating lasting impacts through sports and education.

One of our success stories includes developing an adaptive sports camp for children with disabilities in Iraq, providing them with confidence and skills to elevate their lives. Additionally, our friendly football competitions in Israel bring together Arab and Jewish youth, fostering teamwork and conflict resolution.
