"We have had this insurance for a couple years now. Their plans are horrible. You pay a high premium for little coverage. When you do a doctors visit either the doctor's office has never heard of it before or they say kempton is unreliable with payments so you have to pay for the full visit upfront. But I will say every time I have called the customer service has been pretty good. I don't even think our employer offers anything other than high deductible plans so that has led to miscommunication for our coverage from kempton because they assume we don't have the high deductible plan so the kpp free policy is different and they told us wrong information about costs (it wasn't free). Ultimately the blame is on the employer for offering poor insurance company/plans."
"Have had nothing but trouble with this insurance ever since we got it! The company my husband works for switched from BCBS to Kempton Group Insurance on January 1st. It took us FOREVER before it actually activated and get our cards. Well into February. Then we fought with it not showing up everywhere we went that we have insurance. They have been fighting paying for things such as testosterone low blood levels and psychiatric appointments. I have been trying to get in with my counselor for a month and Kempton will not respond with if and how much they will cover. I could go on for weeks about how awful the Kempton experience has been for us."
