"I've never brought a gun to this place so the quality of his work I cannot speak of. I have had two conversations with this man. The first I asked him to drill and tap a scope mount on a rifle for me. He told me " I only build custom guns, I don't do anything like that." So I have been driving to the city for the last few years where I get great service and have had 3 custom rifles built and numerous other things done just tired of driving back and fourth to the city. Fast forward a few years and I see an advertisement in the penny news from him saying he does all manner of gunsmithing now. So I decided to give him another shot his personality is kin to oscar the grouch on a really bad day. No tact, customer service, personality! I will continue to drive an hour to see a gunsmith who has customer service and friendly. I will drive an hour away from home to not deal with a gunsmith that lives in the same town as me who sounds like it is a burden on him if I bring him my business. Hopefully someone else has had a better experience here than I have."
