"Do you want INEPT management, training and HR is just as worthless. Then this is the place for you! Their philosophy is your train yourself LOL with no training manuals, nothing! Just. Another part of how ill prepared and sorry they really are. I wouldn’t get a policy here, bc nobody is really trained on their new system, after 2 years , which is an older system, just new for them. Which is fine with the company obviously since basics is barely all they provide. Changes are made on the daily on how to process claims thru emails only. They do not EVER keep the members in mind when making claims decisions! Everything is back from the old days nothing is for 2024 more like the year 2000! Very behind in current processing practices in this day and age. You literally still have the paper claims instead of everything being paperless and digital!!! That’s why claims are not paid correctly or pended for stupid reasons! Do Not Get a policy here if you don’t want to be screwed over. I would give them a negative rating if it allowed! Which it should for this place!!!"
"I do not recommend this insurance company. They delay paying claims for incorrect reasons or they make a mistake processing the claim on their end and then you have to write a letter to appeal their mistake to try and get the claim paid. Their customer service reps are not helpful. If you call concerning their mistake on a claim, they want you to write a letter which then delays any payment for at least another 30 days after the initial 30 day waiting for payment on the original claim."
"I had/have a medicare advantage plan through Global Health. Pros: I contacted customer service once and they were very helpful answering all my questions and explaining my plan. The vision benefit was much easier to understand than any other vision insurance I've ever had. The company is on the smaller side and can give you better customer service than ones that depend on oversea call centers. Cons: The website is difficult to navigate and doesn't seem to be very mobile device friendly. The network seems to be smaller than most The network didn't cover one of my doctors. (Although it was my fault I forgot to look it up before enrolling.)"
"I can never get any quality customer service when calling..I continuously get filtered back to the website..which is out dated an does not have current phone numbers for physician's. The reps on the phone just rush you off an try to get you to do everything but talk with them for clarity. Basically flagrantly disregarding your health an your concerns. I just wonder if they realize if I was not having a medical issue that needs attention I would never be calling..can't wait to switch insurance carriers!"
"I have had nothing but issues working with this company. My first issue is everything has to be done through snail mail, we are in 2018 I should be able to add a parent to speak on my behalf over the phone or through a website. I have sent the form in for my mother to speak on my behalf twice, and they mysteriously haven't received either request...we are on try three now. My second issue is if you have an appeal there is no rush on the process, or anyway or knowing when in that thirty days the appeal will be processed. My next issue is that they have only given me permission to see my specialist twice in three month, I just had a major surgery I will need more than twice. The only thing nice I have to say is that the representatives I have talked to have been pleasant. The overall company has been hell to work with and I will be changing insurances next year. Save yourself, find another company to trust your health with."
