Reviews of Tulsa General Veterinary Hospital
"It has been over a year since this man killed my dog… Sad thing is and I will live with this for the rest of my life he treated for my Boston terriers. I absolutely love this man I guess because the way he represented himself and I respected and trusted him.? I will live with this for the rest of my life and never forgive myself….. The dog that he pretty much butchered and I mean butchered is dead. He died within 24 hours after he did surgery … and Dr. P. is not there on Thursdays. Well, he wasn’t anyways back around December 7th when he killed my dog. Sorry I just say that because it’s true. And in the meantime, when I brought him in( Jack Sparrow was his name,) he was a rescue dog that I had only gotten back in May AND AFTER Dr. P. did an UNNECESSARY ON JACK. When I SAY UNNECESSARY… only because Jack’s mass that he had on the bottom of his belly and trust me Jack was a very big Boston terrier, which I’m sorry , but made him that much lovable.. and again I live with it every day because even though I know I’m not a veterinarian I should have known better because for an older dog that we guesstimated honestly be about 14 years old to have such a huge mass on the bottom of his belly, how in the world could he have walked actor anyways Oh there was a bit of a problem. He called it some kind of a tear or something and that there wasna bleed. It was tough and rough … and I believe he called it an over and tuck surgery? And trust me, I still have the voicemail that he sent me because he couldn’t tell me in person. I guess his voice now is almost 2 minutes long doesn’t seem like a long time, but it is every other word he says, is um um, um…. It’s not onlyheartbreaking but utterly DISGUSTING .. Remember this dog is a rescue dog and it’s about we figure 12 to 13 years old. The surgery never should’ve been performed in the first place … THE mass on him that was SO HUGGE .. and I have no idea what I was thinking and I will pay IN MY HERAT AND SOUL EVERYDAY… But I’m sorry I still put blame on Dr. P because this MASSIVE TUMOR being so huge He should have took a biopsy ..EVEN A SIMPLE SIMPLE NEEDLE Biopsy two other veterinarians told me… would have let this idiot know it was cancerous …after Jacks BUTCHERED surgery AND they were flabbergasted that this man would ever even think to even HAVE PERFORMED such a surgery IN THE FIRST PLACE,,,. I don’t know it’s March 30 and this was a year ago December 7. I was not going to say anything but it’s all I think it back every day I wake up and I think about it every day when I go to bed. Jack was a rescue dog that I got in May, that was going to be taken to the vet and possibly put to sleep? The owners well, the lady that loved Jack so much had passed away is what I was told.. .? So I took the for the guy in. The seven months that I had him he was nothing but happy no problems., no pains, he went on walks and he hung in there, just like the rest of the dogs and he was very happy. He was a little slow. I must admit.. lol… that he was the most grateful, loving dog that I have ever in my life been around. There was just something about Jack that was just so awesome and like I said, I had him seven months and I had my other two dogs which I still have to this day of 12 years…I lost Belle 3 years ago Sept 2nd with no prevention .. She gave it her all and she was a trooper.. Poor Jack .. was giving his all , before he was mutilated and butchered by Dr. P…"
"Dr P and his staff are incredible. We are always seen within 10 mins of our appointment time and out the door efficiently. He takes his time with our kitties and is such a thoughtful person and vet. I'll be taking our fur babies here for everything !!!"
"I’m not a customer of this place of business and thank god I’m not! I have only heard about the unprofessional rude behavior the owners are to their employees. If they don’t treat their employees well with dignity and respect think about how they treat the animals or care for the customers pets behind closed doors! I for one would not ever take my animals to a place where the management is rude to the employees who gossips about employees to other employees who create a uncomfortable environment to properly work in in order to perform the duties of caring for customers pets safely and effectively. Good business practices should always have a healthy environment, strong atmosphere of trust and respect for each other who work hard together to keep the team together on the same level of success! That begins with good professional leadership! So before you go and trust this business to care for your pets trust a believe the employees are miserable working there not because they don’t like animals because they really do love working with the animals it’s the management who are creating a toxic environment for the employees! I will never recommend anyone to take their precious pets to this awful place who treat their employees like dirt! That’s not good business or good leadership! The employees need to call the better business bureau and labor board on them!"
"Took care of our Rescue Dog emergency for us right away. They were very nice and professional and did a splendid job with sutures to fix a gash in his thigh, body, face, and just fixing him up right."
"Dr. Prisinzano and his staff are amazing! I would recommend this site to all pet owners. Our dogs have had a variety of needs met from surgery for a growth removal, to neutering, to boarding. The whole team has given our fur babies love beyond measure. Thank you TGV!"
