"I’ve gotten several cats fixed because of these awesome people. You have to call and leave your name and address they send the paperwork for you to fill out and you send it back with money order check and proof of income and they quickly send you the voucher to get your pet fixed. You do have to find vets that accept it and that is a challenge at times but not their fault. I love this place thank you"
"Been trying to call for a few days now and can't get anyone to answer the phone. Is y'all's number working?"
"RUDE, NOT PROFESSIONAL. ZERO STARS i don’t usually write reviews but this was the most rude, inconsiderate, and UNPROFESSIONAL experience i’ve ever had with a buisness. I went to best friends of pets in okc (off of wilshire) for the low cost spay and neuter program. the program would have been great if the staff and head of the place had not been so INCONSIDERATE, RUDE, INHUMANE, and UNAPOLOGETIC. the tone they spoke with and they way they treated us was unbelievable. The instructions on the packet for the low cost spay and neuter were not clear, and we showed up with everything we thought we needed, the completed paperwork and a confirmation email. A misunderstanding took place, and we found out we needed the supervisors signature as well, they told us they would keep our cat (without giving us an option on what we wanted) and that we had an hour or else they wouldn’t do it or we would have to pay the full amount. We emailed the paperwork to the person who needed to sign, when she didn’t answer for awhile we got her number from the receptionist. When we talked to Kim, the supervisor/(signer?) we discovered she was the rudest and most passive aggressive person i’ve ever spoken to. She was very snappy and made it clear she was in a rush and we were wasting her time. Her temper was terrible. The very loud and deliberate sighs and her rude and unprofessional tone, made me feel very disrespected and not valued as a human. I began to worry if they were kind and professional with the animals we all entrust them with. She was supposed to be helping us but she made it clear she didn’t want to help or do her job. she. treated. us. like. dirt. She (VERY RUDELY AND UNPROFESSIONALLY) complained that people are always calling her with this same issue. my advice to her would be that if this has happened multiple times, that’s a pattern, and they may want to look closer at their business. she asked to speak to the receptionist, we were guessing so she could verbally sign off/consent to the spay. when we handed the phone over to the receptionist, (also named Kim for some reason), they talked in front of us for a very short time, nodding heads, and talking as if they had both already decided. finally, the receptionist said “it would be too much of an inconvenience for us to deal with.” then they sent us off. if she had answered the phone as a grown adult and calmly explained that she was unable to help us currently but could reschedule us for another day, it would’ve been understandable. but the astonishing disrespect throughout this experience, the rude and hurtful nature of it all, the tone everyone used with us, the disregard for our cat and the lack of communication and understanding is baffling. they had all of the resources to go through with the spay. They had our info, our paperwork, our time, and our literal cat. we starved the cat the night before, drove 45min @8am, and personally contacted Kim per request of staff. not only were we pushed aside but Kim, the “boss” was the worst out of all of them. If you go here, sincerely good luck to you and your animals. i just hope you don’t meet Kim, the receptionist or the supervisor, and i hope they never treat anyone how we were treated. P.S. you’d think any business would apologize after seeing a negative experience a costumer shares. apologize and try to improve, for everyone’s well being. but instead they’ve already completely denied it and tried to shift blame. a further example of the unprofessionalism and pure need of upgrade. try harder best friends of pets, your colors are showing."
