"Requested a tow from triple A on Monday at 9:30am, the dispatch person said it would be about 65 minutes, cool. I waited for 6 hours, at this point I had been up for over 24 hours from doing a double at work, I called and asked them when they were sending a tow truck. They said it would be another 90 minutes but that I could go home and go to sleep and they would do a contactless pick up, cool. I get up at 5am Tuesday morning. Apparently they finally got a driver there at 8pm Monday night, over 10 hours after I had requested the tow and 2 hours after the location the vehicle was at had closed, the vehicle was now locked in a garage and they were unable to get it, ok. I call them back at 6am, the apologize for yesterday and say that will have a driver to pick it up “no later than 8:15am” After 8:15 comes and goes with no word I call them back, “about another hour” ok, they finally get a driver there at 10:45am. I get ahold of them around 2pm, apparently the driver “couldn’t find the house” it was supposed to go to. I’m not sure how that’s possible, I can literally see it on google maps just by typing in the same address I gave them. So for some reason they thought it would be a great idea to tow it all the way back to the same location they picked it up from and just…. Leave it there Being pretty aggravated at this point, I call triple a back, they apologize profusely, and say they’ll have a driver come pick it up in a hour. An hour goes by, no word, I call again, “about another hour” 3 more hours to by, still no word, I call triple a back yet again. I speak to a triple a representative on the phone, he says “so I’m not sure when a tow truck is going to come, we don’t have anyone on the way yet. Can you just get someone else to tow it? And you can apply for us to reimburse you later” hello no. I speak with a manager, she apologizes profusely again, and says that it will be about another hour. It’s been another hour, still no word back. It’s now been almost 35 hours since I originally request a tow, and my car has yet to be towed to its destination. What kind of comical incompetence is this? What do I pay you guys for? This has gone beyond absurd and I am beyond disgusted at the kind of service I’ve been “provided” with."
"Called AAA to get a local tow. They sent a contractor. American tow dropped my car off the truck & it rolled down the street & into my neighbors mailbox. I've gotten the run around for 6 months now. Sounds like a great deal to have a membership until something happens & you'll wish you just paid for an insured/bonded towing."

"IT WAS A TREMENDOUS EXPERIENCE. THEY TOOK CARE OF MY WIFE'S PRIUS. I WAS SO IMPRESSED I ALSO TOOK MY RAV4 THE NEXT DAY IN FOR SERVICE. WHAT ASTOUNDED ME THE MOST, I WAS OUT OF THERE WITHIN 70 MINUTES. THE COSTS FOR THE SERVICE & FAST TURN AROUND WAS VERY "IMPRESSIVE!" IF I HAD GONE TO THE DEALER, THE PRICE WOULD HAVE BEEN AT LEAST $145 HIGHER, AND THE LENGTH OF TIME WOULD HAVE BEEN 2-1/2 TO 3 HOUR WAIT!"
