Dr Kevin T Quang, DPM

"Dr. Quang might be an excellent Dr. or the worse, I do not know. I can tell you his office staff on 71st at Metro Tulsa Foot and Ankle is not efficient, considerate or thorough and you can be expected to pay for small services that they can not bill your insurance company for and expect you to pay directly. They will lose your paperwork, fail to mail you paperwork and won't respond to messages until days later. I had surgery scheduled with Dr Quang. I tried calling the office to get an email address to send the forms for my FMLA and after being on hold for a long period of time I left a message. I did not get called back for two days, and by that time I had found their fax number on a website and had faxed them the paperwork. The person I spoke with said they had received it, so I did not get an email address. She said they charge $25 to process the FMLA paperwork, which I said okay to, thinking they would bill my insurance company. A week later, I tried to get the paperwork in for a temporary handicap parking placard, but could not complete the online paperwork from the state of Oklahoma because it requests an email from the Dr.'s office. When I called the office to retrieve an email address, I was told I can give you one, but we will not respond to it. They have to fill out the paperwork and I can pick it up there. I am an hour away, and we agreed it would be best for them to mail it. So, mailing through snail mail for them is safer than an email, I guess. A week later I still did not receive it and called and they said it was still there so I told them I would come and pick it up. Driving an hour one way, I went in, and they couldn't find the paperwork. They looked and looked and then had to print me off a copy and told me I could take it to the DMV. I left there and went to the DMV, waited in line for 15 minutes only to be told no...you have to mail it in. The DMV can not issue you a placard. Now, I received a bill for the FMLA paperwork being completed and I called the Insurance company and they said that if the provider would send it to them they would pay it. I called the Dr's office and speak to Sam who told me that they don't have a "code" to bill the insurance company. This is ludicrious. They are going to charge me for completing paperwork that is necessary for me to be paid while I am recuperating from a surgery this Dr is to perform and it is not billable to the Insurance company? I called my insurance company again today and the insurance customer service thought was an unnecessary and unusual charge as well. Sam, Dr Quangs employee contact me later and said they will not be providing the surgery and they have cancelled it. This is 20 days before it is scheduled. This has been a fiasco from the start with his office staff and that is just a sign that this company, Tulsa Metro Foot and Ankle, and Dr. Quang is not the company I want cutting my ankle open. I wonder how many more little charges they will post on the unsuspecting patient? How much paperwork will they lose? How can you expect to reach their office if they do not answer their phone or call you back a day or two later and do not respond to emails? Good luck folks, I think I dodged a bullet."

Dr. Quang is very kind, caring, knowledgeable, and an expert in his field. He seems to love his job. He cares about you and your feet-including making sure you understand your conditions. "Dr.Quang & and his staff are awesome!!! My partner had a stroke in 2009 and paralyzed on his left side. Over the years he developed drop foot on his left foot which caused trauma to his toenails; which was the original reason for coming to Dr. Quang. My partner now has a 90° angle on his foot, which will also help his knee and hip pain, thank you Dr. Quang and staff at the Sapulpa office of metro, Tulsa, foot and ankle specialist. P.S. "Third appointment and Dr Quang is awesome and so is the nurse and so is the receptionist. They make you feel very comfortable and at ease. And I was lucky that I didn't have to have my toe removed because Dr Quang has been looking after it and my toe is so much better now. Give them a try"
