"I have been going to the office off western for all my chiropractic needs for years, and I have loved going I have even referred several people to this office. Until today. There was a lady working the front who when I first came in came off very loud and had zero respect for my privacy. Was asking me medical questions in the lobby without regard to my privacy at all. and once I was in my room she would barge in the room without knocking. I didn’t get her name but she had brownish red hair and tattoos not wearing scrubs like the other ladies (who were very professional). Right before I was to get adjusted. She came into my treatment room saying I owed this huge deductible. I told her I had contacted my insurance to make sure my benefits were the same as before since I hadn’t been seen in about a year. I spoke with an actual person about this. She told me they also talked to a person which I later found out they didn’t. And then handed me paperwork showing that I had a deductible but it was not for “catastrophic injuries”when I told her the paperwork showed my copay and that deductible was not for this kind of care she assured me that I was wrong, advised I would be paying “cash price” for the visit which was $75! I asked her to check again she refused to do so and lied to me saying she had spoke to someone. I told her I would just have to call the insurance myself again and would have to be seen another time after they got my benefit’s straightened out. I asked to have a copy of the insurance paperwork that they had showed me, she refused to give me my documents stating “there’s business information on those pages and they could not give me a copy” mind you these are MY medical documents. Once I walked to my car I contacted my insurance who verified I didn’t have any deductible and even called the office to let them know my benefits, they told my insurance if I came back in that I would be charged 2 copays even though I was seeing the same doctor (which is against the law). My insurance advocate stated they were extremely rude and unprofessional and that they would recommend not visiting that office as there were previous complaints of the same behavior from other insureds they had issues with this office before . I love all the Dr’s I have used at this facility but for privacy and safety reasons for negligent office staff I would highly suggest using a different doctor and if you do use them, I would take your benefits in with you so they don’t try to con you into paying deductibles and things that aren’t right! I will be finding a new doctor!!!!!"
