"Dr Saul's was one of the most uncompassionate people I've ever met. My husband had open wounds all down his legs and could barely walk. He had his nurse dress his wounds and afterwards I asked him if he could help with his pain. He said get rid of the infection and the pain will go away. I told him we had started him on antibiotics and he got upset saying that would mess up the blood work on the labs he wanted done. He then just walked out of the room saying just come back in a week. I wound up taking my husband to the emergency room where they helped with his pain and informed me they dressed his legs with the wrong dressings. Do not go to Dr Sauls"
"The receptionist in the front are very nice and helpful. As for the nurses that a different case. They’re rude don’t even introduce themselves when walking in the room. They have no since of privacy being my husband has a wound in a spot he doesn’t wish to be on display for others to see. We had more then one occasion where the nurses have walked in when his wound was covered didn’t even knock before entering. On top of all that we’ve had multiple problems where he’s supplies are not getting ordered for his wound. Just last week I was told it’s our responsibility to order his supplies that was never addressed to us. I can see why this place is reviewed so low. I’ve also seen where there have been reviews that a lot of the staff seem racist and now I know why we have experienced such poor quality of service. Being every time we come in to a Dr visit my husband is the only black patient that is ever there."
"Have been to this facility off and on for 2 years with my brother. Yesterday, 1 nurse visited the room 1st removing the bandages from my brother. She was very professional. Next, Dr. Delcambre came in with a different nurse. He was quite professional as well. He told us that he wanted to perscribe 2 different medications. I asked what pharmacy. He said the nurse would handle it. The last nurse to come in dressed my brothers wound then left the room saying we were done. Upon check out, I inquired with Heather what pharmacy was called as there was no information on the post appointment papers we were given. She said she didn't know because it wasn't her department. I then saw the nurses gathered behind me in the office of the head nurse. I asked them what pharmacy and when it would be sent. I was RUDELY told that they would be called in later in the day to the pharmacy on file. I asked what pharmacy they had on file. Then the nurse rustled through my brothers chart like I had asked for the moon and told me. I said it would have been nice if you had verified this with us in the room. It is my opinion that there are 3 different groups of people at this facility that only know/care about their department and DON'T communicate with any other department..hope to see this change during future appointments."
"I’ve been going to this wound care center for almost a year now. I’ve had poor service provided from the facility. When the nurses enter the room they don’t knock before entering or mention their names. I was threaten by the Dr. to being hospitalized for my wound due to this office not providing me any of the medical supplies to cover my wound. Every time I’ve asked why my supplies have not been shipped it’s blamed on the supplier. When given the phone number to the supplier I was told they haven’t received any supply order for my wound since Oct. 18th of 2022 now we’re in 2023. How exactly do you except for someone to keep their wounds protected and taken care of is not provided with the supplies needed. Not only do they not order your supplies but the staff in this office is racist there have been several times I come in early for my appointment and others are seen before me and when I’ve ever visited this office I’m the only black male there. If you are considering this place I highly suggest you go somewhere else that will provide you and your loved ones the care they deserve."
"My Nan has been a patient, for several different wound care issues, over the past 5 years. The staff has always been kind and treated her with dignity and respect. Dr. Delcambre has been excellent in caring for her recent wounds. The nurses are very efficient and treat her wounds gently but effectively. The staff at the front is office are professional and answer questions and assist with appointments that satisfy our schedule. At one visit, while Nan was being treated, I had a hypoglycemic episode and the front desk noticed immediately I was in trouble. The quickly brought out an nutritional drink that brought my sugar up to bring me out of the episode. I was so grateful they were quick to act and noticed someone was in trouble. There are a lot of negative reviews for this Wound Care Clinic, however, we have not experienced any negative issues and would highly recommend this clinic for wound care."
