"My Doctor ordered for me an in-home sleep study. The results were sleep apnea. I was then ordered an in-office sleep study to determine the amount of oxygen I’d need nightly. The Doctor’s office called and informed me that The Mercy Sleep Center would be calling to schedule this second study. They called and scheduled it for Sunday March 10th at 9pm. Friday March 8th at 9:30am I received another call to confirm this appointment. I arrived tonight March 10th and they said the sleep study was cancelled and they’re not sure why. They told me that maybe the insurance company hadn’t given authorization. They said that their office should’ve called me today to inform me they were canceling. They did not. The person I was speaking with was extremely condescending and seemingly uncaring. He told me to call back tomorrow. I drove nearly 20 miles at 9pm on a Sunday night for this study and was simply sent back home. I’m extremely disappointed with Mercy and they will never be my Hospital of choice. I will NOT have my sleep study administered at Mercy Sleep Center."
