Reviews of VITALIS Metabolic Health
"My wife had an appointment with this company that she accidentally forgot about. She is a teacher and did not mean to miss her appointment as she had a very busy day that day. However, she got a very rude letter from this company saying they take no-shows very seriously and refused to reschedule her. We fully understand that it is important not to miss appointments, as I work in the medical field and she is a teacher- however, grace is a huge part of both of our professions. What if she chose to not give grace on a missing assignment? I mean if you are really in the business of helping people, why be so rude? I will not recommend this business to anyone. They need to change their approach to no-shows and learn to have compassion for people."
"I won’t be back. Dr. Morgan is actually really nice and helpful but the PA or Nurse that works with him is very rude and unprofessional. Each time I have had to interact with her was uncomfortable. She barely engaged in conversation so much so that during one appt I had to ask if she was ok. And her response was “oh I haven’t had my coffee this morning”. So she knew she wasn’t being friendly. And just now she just handled a situation in the most unprofessional way by being short and rude for no reason. Her customer service is the worst. I wish I knew her name so I could call her out. I refuse to go somewhere where I’m made to feel uncomfortable especially by healthcare professionals. I would not recommend this location for your weight loss needs."
"He is very knowledgeable. His office is very clean and accommodating ( that is why I’m giving him 1 instead of 0). However, the first time I met with him he talked about his patients that “Ghost” him, he talked about his patients that wanted a higher dosage of meds but they didn’t do any modifications to their diet, he talked about being annoyed with his patients that ask questions regarding things that he has given paper work on. I over looked this and thought he was personable and real. Now, I find it very unprofessional. After my second appointment with him I understood why some patients “Ghost him”. It became clear that he didn’t want to do anything for me because I didn’t come to the appointment prepared.. I had no idea I was suppose to bring a food diary with me. It was clear He was annoyed with me that I didn’t bring that. He also hounded me on why I didn’t get a therapist. I explained to him I did not want a therapist at this time and therapy doesn’t work for me. He then had me google with him all my past therapists that I had. It was years ago that I honestly can’t remember their names. He then had me pin point on google maps where I had my therapy appointments. It literally took all my appointment time with him just looking on google maps trying to pinpoint where my past therapists were. I felt like he was trying to catch me in a lie. But I gave him the benefit of the doubt and maybe he was wanting to know what type of therapist they were so that he could recommend a different therapist. But even so, I told him I didn’t want therapy at this time. He should have respected that and moved on with my appointment. That appointment was the strangest appointment I’ve ever had. I left feeling like I wasted his time and mine. I left thinking that was a waste of a co-pay. He spent 1-2 mins wanting me to only count my protein and what my daily protein goal is. Literally the rest of the appointment was him on google maps. I did not return and do not plan on returning. Also I feel like he misdiagnosed me with binge eating disorder. I do not binge eat. He says that my adhd meds hide my binge eating disorder and he suspects that I have it. But on my online patient chart it shows that he gave me this diagnosis. I won’t be going back. I’ve never felt so humiliated and dumbfounded after a doctor appointment. It literally was strange."
"Dr. Morgan is the first doctor to get to the root of my problems and not just try to fix them without figuring out why I'm struggling first. He has helped me come up with sustainable solutions for my eating disorder. I have been seeing him and his nurse practitioner for only 2 months now but this is the most hopeful I have ever felt. This is the most progress I have ever made and I'm doing it in a healthy and sustainable way. I can't wait to see what else I can accomplish with his and his teams help."
"Dr. Morgan was a delightful surprise. On my first appointment he spent almost an hour with me. We discussed more than weight loss. We talked about my job, family, eating habits, exercise, hobbies and more. He got to know me as a person and tried to get a feel for me as a person; not simply someone that needed to lose some pounds. I was disappointed when we were done since I wanted to talk to him some more. Everyone in the office seemed to enjoy working there and I could sense the culture of teamwork. Go see Dr. Morgan!"
