"I am a birth doula and recently supported a client in labor with Dr. Aguilar. Generally speaking, Norman regional has not been my favorite hospital to support clients at. This most recent visit may just change my mind. My client was treated with respect and every potential intervention whether chosen or not, was fully explained to them. Our first nurse, Nichole, had absolutely wonderful bedside manner. Our second nurse, Julie maybe, was a little pushier, but just as kind. I was most impressed with Dr, Aguilar, and how she respected the wishes of my client and didn’t use a scare tactics to try and alter their choices. They were presented with facts and understanding, and never talked to in a condescending tone. It’s always great to see clients have the experience they wanted with very little pushback. Thank you"
