"Terrible school. Writing labs are useless and they won’t email you to remind you when payments are due and will double what you owe! All they care about is money!"

"My son had a scholarship to go here. Went for less than one year and was told his scholarship was revoked because he wasn’t meeting the credit hour requirement. Only thing is, he went to the school MANY times during the time where they choose their classes and every class he needed was full. They wouldn’t help him find anything else in order to keep his scholarship. They didn’t tell him his scholarship was at risk, they just booted him one random day when he went to class. They basically said he had to pay the rest of his way or he’s done. They screwed a just out of high school grad who did everything in school needed in order to get this scholarship and they just pissed it away because no one wanted to do their job and help him. then 2 years later, he gets a payout from Rose State for nearly $1000. Weird right?! He couldn’t get answers as to why he got this money from them. But then 3 months later, my son just did his taxes and expected a refund but Rose State garnished his taxes for that “overpayment”. This school is a joke."

"I went there for my first year, then transfered here to Illinois Central College due to a new job coming up here, and to put myself in a better position in life. I can tell you all this though, Rose State College is well worth it. Everyone is nice, I made greta friends, and the schedules were very flexable. Best college to start higher education, to be honest."

"Now I'm a little sweet on this college because I go to it. It is a modest size Community College. It offers a lot of great courses and the classes are not overflowing so you will get more one on one time with the teachers. It's right off I40 and plenty of parking. I wish it had more food places on campus but it is in driving distance to a lot of food places."
