"I started at MNTC enrolled in the accounting program, thinking it was the right path for me. While the program was well-structured and informative, I quickly realized that accounting simply wasn't my passion. I felt lost and unsure of my future. However, i talked to my counselor about how i was feeling, and she took action the very next day. She talked to me about the CADD program after i told her my interests. When I toured the CADD classroom, I knew I had found my calling. The instructor, Mr. Means, is absolutely fantastic. Not only is he incredibly knowledgeable about CADD, but he also has the rare ability to connect with each student. He creates a fun and supportive learning environment that fosters creativity and confidence. During a particularly rough patch in my first year, the support I received at MNTC was invaluable. It wasn't just about academics; it was about feeling heard, understood, and motivated to keep going. Knowing I had people I could reach out to and feel comfortable sharing with made a world of difference. Today, I'm thrilled to say that I'm working at an amazing architecture firm, and I wouldn't be here without MNTC. Mr. Means' patience, guidance, and passion for CADD equipped me with the skills and knowledge I needed to succeed. If you're looking for an academic institution that prioritizes your success, both personally and professionally, look no further than MNTC. The staff is truly remarkable, and the learning environment is second to none. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this school to anyone, whether they're seeking a specific career path or simply exploring their options. Thank you, MNTC, for helping me discover my passion and build a brighter future!"
"I attended MNTC in 2013 for the AutoCAD course, and it was fundamental to my career path! It was very enticing for me at the time because 4 years of college was not for me, but I wanted a more technical job with a career pathway. MNTC provided that, and then some, mainly because of my instructor John Means. He was a mentor to me for a year, and he truly gave a positive impact every day to his students, whether it was an anecdotal life lesson, or an extremely well executed Hendrix song, (I'd hope for Hey Joe) and this is the experience I think you will find at MNTC. Instructors that not only care if you know the material but truly want to see you succeed in life. College is not for everyone, but everyone deserves a chance to become educated and join the workforce and apply that knowledge. If you are on the fence about applying, I'd suggest going in and talking with a teacher who is in the field you're interested in and just see what you think. The door is there, but you have to walk through it!"
"If you are applying to this school, save your resources and apply elsewhere. I applied for a program back in May and they never reached back out. They don't want you there, they just want application numbers."
"I finished the CADD program last year and hands down, Mr Means is one of the best teachers I've met. The class is very down to earth and you're encouraged to learn but if you're ever struggling, everyone is ready to help. 10/10 would do it again"
"This school doesn't even deserve 1 star but that was the only option. My son has been denied into this school 2 years in a row even as a student! Last year he couldn't get in even after going through all the tests because the program closed. This year he applied as a student but wanted more if he could get more. I found out he doesn't qualify for a student because he graduates in May so we were told to apply for another program. He applied for another program going through a 2nd interview only to not get into a program once again!!! It is very disappointing because when someone wants to learn and told they can't it can discourage that child. We now are now forced to look elsewhere. I don't think he will apply here again because being denied twice.....it just shows you are not as invested in young adults learning as you say. Educating students that trade school is the way to go only just to shut the door in their face is extremely unprofessional. Not everyone wants to attend college but what do you do when college and tech schools are both not an option?"
