"A gd joke ! False information , was told it takes 30 days process to get my meds that were originally prescribed by them a year ago. It's bee. 2 months with no meds I've seen 5 different ppl with no progress. JOKE! LOOKS LIKE THEY CARE $$$ NOT HELPING THE MENTALLY ILL."
"These folks got me through the lowest point in my adult life. I likely wouldn't be alive if not for them. I'll always be grateful for the care I got at Red Rock & told them so often. That's precisely why it hurts so much to write this. I'm still trying to wrap my head around how you justify dumping a long-term patient for the very issues for which they're seeking treatment (avoidant behavior, social anxiety, communication problems). And why would a client be required to communicate with their EX-case manager at all? That seems rife for abuse, especially when the client has severe social anxiety. At best it's awkward for both parties & more stress than many mentally ill people can take. At worst it's dangerous. So after waiting 3 months with no word on my new CM, I learned I'd been "referred out" (read: clinically abandoned w/ no plan for continued care) for the crime of "disengaging" with my ex-case manager, a feat that's both technically & literally impossible. Hence the "ex". I was then accused of lying about a letter I never received stating that my services would end if I didn't contact the CM. It's impossible to prove a negative--that I DIDN'T receive something I've never laid eyes on--so we're at an impasse. I was hung up on when I started to cry. Now they're refusing to turn over my financial records by ignoring my phone calls/messages (but have sent me 2 bills for $6 which I've now paid). I have so many questions. Do my treatment notes blame ME for this abrupt end? I accepted the offer of a new CM & was harassed by my old one before being accused of going AWOL for avoiding her frantic communications & then terminated with no referrals, no care plan for meds or other follow-up. AFTER 6 YEARS OF HONEST, COMPLIANT BEHAVIOR AT RED ROCK. If this equals "client disengaged" then I'm Chaka Khan. I was never MORE engaged than while waiting to meet my new CM. At no time was I informed that a termination session would be required or I would've refused the offer to change CMs. All I ask is that my chart reflect what really happened; if not, we have a legal issue. You can't push a patient (w/ a fear of stairs!) down the stairs & write "Klutzy patient fell down stairs & quit therapy." Lying by omission is still lying. All I want to know is WHY. My only takeaway is there is no place for autistic adults in the mental health world. Having a 137 IQ is useless when you run from ringing phones & get lost driving in your own neighborhood. I once overheard my mom call me an "idiot savant" to my then-partner. She's half right. My naive belief that anyone with letters behind their name would actually care about a rural autard welfairy like me is my biggest regret. Sometimes I slip & forget my place in this world. Guess I should've known: A similar thing happened in the Enid psych ward when a nurse failed to find a bandana in my bag at intake. I spent 24 hours in a corner for her mistake. I was 16. These places think they can pin their mistakes on patients because we're "crazy" which usually works. Most patients don't have access to legal resources which is a shame. In all sincerity, thank you for the years of VIP treatment (discharge date notwithstanding). That this oasis even exists in this graveyard of broken dreams we call Western Oklahoma is a miracle. I'll miss it. Maybe you can give my slot to a barely-sentient sot or "nice guy" sex offender with a rapsheet longer than a depressive's face after quitting 80mg of Prozac with no Continuing Care Plan. Sound familiar? I'd still recommend Red Rock to anyone, just with the caveat that you don't call them on their mistakes. Ever. Also: document everything; record audio when possible (OK is a one-party consent state) & save electronic communications even if they seem innocuous. I'm sure glad I did. One thing is certain: I'll never set foot in another mental health facility after this baffling & painful experience. It's clear my best efforts aren't good enough & my core issues aren't fixable. But closure would've been nice. Peace, Love, Empathy Me"
"This place has no respect for your time. They will make you wait two hours past your appointment time. This is not the way to treat people with mental illness! I do not recommend this place if you have any other option."
"They never return phone calls. It's always leave a voicemail and someone will get back to you by end of day but no one does. If you do get lucky enough to actually speak to someone and they need to call you back, rest assured no one will call. Terrible telephone communication."
"I'm currently a client at Red Rock yet I may not be for much longer I have had to reschedule my appointment no fewer than four times now. And I have a pretty good memory it's just that they like to put me on a freaking Friday all the dang time just because they close at 4. At this rate I do not recommend Red Rock because of their budget cuts and Personnel working there. They should try to get anybody there a lot faster then they are trying to. I've been in the one that waiting room and it's never ever full kind of sad a little bit of their quality they have cut off as opposed compensating people who do not live in El ghetto. It cost me 5 to $10 just to go out there I'm now more inclined to go into the city Moore than back out to this horrible place. I suggest anyone reading this review choose carefully where they get their health services."
