"I never leave reviews but this is one of the best Thai spots in Tulsa!!! I noticed the parking lot was empty when I picked up my order today and decided to leave a review because this family deserves so much more business and customers! I have been here twice, and the food and service are both excellent. My go to order is definitely pad see ew, crab rangoons, and a thai tea."
"This is my favorite restaurant to go to in Tulsa. The food is amazing but the family who runs it is even better. My friend who has lots of allergies (including meat) was able to enjoy a delicious homemade meal; the cook even made altercations for the spring rolls for us."
"Stopped in around 2pm on a Saturday, and a table or two was still occupied. Despite the late timing, I was seated quickly and had drinks and food ordered in short order. The atmosphere was stellar- I loved both interior and exterior of the building. The fried tofu appetizer was incredible, light crust, soft tofu interior and served with a red sweet sauce with chunks of peanuts. Probably the best fried tofu I’ve tried in Tulsa IMO. The Massaman Curry with Tofu at a ‘level 6’ spice: good flavors, well cooked veg, curry a bit lighter than I prefer, though tasty non the less. Level 6 spice (top of scale) was decent, though I’d prefer more spice."
"Best Thai in Tulsa! We eat here regularly for lunch and it's always great! There are normally 4-6 of us and we never have issues with service! The servers are always checking on us and making sure we are good! I normally get the pad see ew and it is amazing! Highly recommend stopping in and giving it a try. The building is a little older, but don't let it scare you away."
"My wife and I have been to Thai Taste many many years ago and wasn't really blown away but on a random Tuesday and craving Thai food I suggested Thai Taste since we haven't been in so long to give them another shot. We arrived just after 6pm and there we 3 customers between two tables. The dining area was lack luster although chairs were comfortable. We were promptly addressed for our drink within no time after seating ourselves. Our server, very nice gentleman, was quickly to provide his opinion on which curry he would order when I asked him what he likes among a few options I asked about. After a brief look at the menu my wife and daughter decided on what they wanted to enjoy. I opted for the recommendation of the red curry minus potato and rice add extra veggies, which they didn't up charge. My wife ordered a noodle dish (#39 lad na) and my daughter chose their sweet and chicken since she is not as diversified in knowing Thai food like my wife and I. My preference is very spicy so I ordered Thai hot level 6 but when it arrived it was fairly mild for palete. Unfortunately, my sweating head was from the environment of which I felt was from the slightly warmer/humid environment of the establishment walking through the door (I'm naturally warm by nature). When I order Thai hot I expect to it to burn me but it felt very mild for Taste ( I enjoy ghost pepper and Caroline reaper hot so that could be unfair). The flavor of the red curry lacked the luster and flavor that I've gotten from several other establishments around Tulsa and even Broken Arrow. I feel obligated to say it wasn't bad but it wasn't good enough to draw me back for another visit. My wife's noodle dish was cooked properly yet she felt it lacked something as did I. My daughters sweet and sour chicken reminded me of some old school sweet and sour chicken dishes I've tasted growing up and offer plenty of bell peppers, onion, and pineapple that I would've personally enjoyed but she only cared for the protein portion of chicken and practically left all the veggies and sauce behind ( I reduce unnecessary carbs where so I didn't indulge much besides a bite or two). Overall, I love to support local and all the Thai places we normally indulge are locally owned just like Thai Taste. If I based my review on personal encounters they would be an easy 4 1/2 star all day long. Visually, the food looked very appealing and it arrived hot. Rating by food and wanting to visit again I would personally give them a 2.5 compared to the places I personally frequent. The quality of ingredients when it comes to veggies and meats I felt were great but the flavor was lacking. I'm not mad at giving them another shot after many years but I personally prefer other places more."
