Mandarin Taste is a restaurant located at 9107 South Sheridan Road in Tulsa, Oklahoma, offering authentic Chinese cuisine, with a focus on Szechuan and Szechuan Hot Pot. Founded by international student Sally Liu, who missed the flavors of her home country while studying in Oklahoma, Mandarin Taste aims to provide a taste of China to its customers. The menu includes a variety of dishes from different regions of China, all prepared by professional chefs using up to 30 herbs and spices.
In addition to dine-in options, Mandarin Taste also offers Business Lunch Catering, featuring a combo meal with a main dish, rice, salad, soup, and appetizer. The restaurant takes pride in using fresh ingredients, creating authentic and unique flavors, and constantly innovating its menu.
For dessert, customers can choose from flavors like vanilla, chocolate, matcha, and coffee, with the option to customize stacked cakes for an additional cost. "Just got home from Mandarin Taste and I must say… it’s good. Real good. You can scan a QR code and order from your table. It’s a little hard to figure out at first, but once you learn the process it’s really fun. You can still order regularly though from a menu. Very tasty dishes and all cooked fresh to order. Definitely give them a try.. it was really good with unique flavors."
"Visited Mandarin Taste, this food is par excellence! The best in Oklahoma hands down. The staff along with the atmosphere is definitely a place of comfort and great ambiance. The chefs being from China definitely have that one two punch for taste and preparation to deliver an experience to exceed your maximum expectation. The dishes you see here are Kung Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef. I would put this restaurant high on your to-do list and make it a priority. Excellent!"
"I will be a repeat offender. Loved every dish we selected. The food was fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was very comfortable and modern with wonder ambiance. The tables were capable of doing hot pots, but they do not do until after 5 pm. I must go back and try it."
"We had Christmas dinner here this year. Wait time was just under an hour. The pineapple chicken was really good but I was disappointed that the pineapple chunks were canned pineapple!! What happened to all the pineapple that they cut out to make this dish look so delicious??"
