"Went here on Sunday for dinner, it’s take out only. We ordered the catfish platter and 4 piece chicken wings platter with cabbage, potato salad and macaroni and cheese. The Catfish, chicken and macaroni and cheese were extremely salty. The potato salad taste store brought and the cabbage had no taste at all. The one slice of toast they give you was burnt. We were very unhappy with our meals and only ate 10-20% of the food. Being African American a lot of us or our ancestors had Hypertension and other health problems, so I expected this black owned business to know better than use excessive salt. Maybe taste the food before serving it to the public."
"The chicken and fish is amazing! The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. Will definitely be going back!"
"The food was great like always. The staff are very kind and friendly with all their customers. Great place to enjoy a meal any given day."
"Great as always. Definitely get the catfish if you go. I get the same thing every time. Catfish double cabbage as my sides at $12 can't beat that."
"Always say yes to sweet Lucy's! Cute restaurant w an open seating area and to go. Tons of choices for veg and main entres. We ordered 3 PC catfish w greens and grilled broccoli, and a veg plate of yams, Mac n cheese, okra, and peas. They should've warned us about portions... They were huge! Catfish done perfectly w a fried cornbread coating. Broccoli did not disappoint: grilled w onions or butter? Not certain, but delish. The greens were beyond good, slightly sour w pork(?) Mac n cheese for s never a favorite, so not sure. My spouse liked it. Yams were sweet and not overcooked. Don't ever forget dessert. Their cake slices are seriously enormous and well worth old fashioned box cake. Have to go but get there early on a Sunday..."
