Reviews
"Food was pretty good. Had a mushroom burger and onion rings. Waiter was pretty busy. Seem like glass windows by tables needed cleaning inside and out. But would be hard inside for all the bottles glued in windows."
"What a fantastic find on Rt 66 through Oklahoma. One side is a convenience store that sells a large variety of bottled soda pop. But the other is on old school looking diner right out of the old days. The food was made from scratch and was very good. The fried pickles were some of the best I've ever had and my steak sandwich was great as well. I'll definitely be visiting again."
"I'd looked at reviews concerning a gluten free menu, and they don't seem to have one. They offer gluten free buns for their burgers, but don't have a separate fryer for French fries. They have kettle cooked chips that I was told were gf, so I had those with my burger and had no problems. I ordered the round barn burger, and was disappointed with the lack of flavor. The egg on top was cooked through, so that didn't add any needed moisture to a dry burger. I hadn't been here in a very long time, and aside from the different sodas, I wouldn't say I'm dying to go back."
"This is a very cool place to stop on Route 66. Especially at night when the huge neon pop bottle is lit up and changing colors. But during the day inside it's pretty with the sunlight shining through all the bottles of pop lining the windows in an array of colors. There is a gas station though the gas is a bit more expensive than other places. They have a restaurant inside. And then of course all the different types of soda pop you can imagine and some you wouldn't even think of. They also sell retro candy as well as Route 66 souvenirs. I wanted to try the Root Beer Bread Pudding but it was just my luck they were out. The one gal there told me to come back when they get their food shipment in and she'd save me one because it goes fast. Well, she did try but unfortunately the bread pudding wasn't on the shipment so they couldn't make it. Bummer. However, I thought, what great service that she did tell the crew I'd be in for it because they were expecting me. Great people! Definitely recommend stopping."
