"Fast food service. People are helpful when asked questions about the menu items. Food was tasty and smokey! Loved every bite! Sliced brisket and white meat chicken, i recommend the 2 meat plate. I had coleslaw and baked beans. Yummy! Ribs fall off the bone! Super delicious! Potato salad, cornbread very delicious also. No one was sitting inside the restaurant when we ate but people continued coming in and out and making line. 5/5"

"Born and raised in Texas, trust me, I know, barbecue. I give George’s a solid 10 !!!! Just moved into the neighborhood about a month ago and decided to check it out today. Definitely my new favorite spot to go. The food is phenomenal !! Tender and juicy, very well seasoned at a very reasonable price !! I ordered the two meat dinner combo with mixed greens, cornbread and baked beans and then went back for a slice of German chocolate cake. Damn well worth the money good place for a date or just to grab lunch for yourself or with some friends and family. I highly recommend, this fantastic barbecue joint !!"

"came early and waited till they opened at 11am and they already had a line by the time i got to the door. you could smell the bbq before the door opened. by the time i got my food and left the line was right up to the door. the prices are very reasonable so i cant really complain based on price but the portion of brisket in the big brisket lunch was a bit on the smaller side. for a big brisket lunch which i thought was false advertising because the portion was rather small it was $10.72 with tax. you get a piece of cornbread and a small side and a drink. the quality of the bbq is extraordinary. you can see why they are popular. i dont get why all the other reviews say the portions were large because i didnt feel i got enough meat. i am actually still hungry after my “big brisket lunch.”"

"This is one of my regular places for some of the best Q in OKC. Be sure to get there before noon as there will be a constant line nearly out the front door. Pay attention whilst you are in line because you order at the counter. The young lady behind the register is as sweet as the tea, but those folks making orders ain’t got time for you to think about it too long, they got awesome BBQ to put out the door. George’s Happy Hog reminds me of the Cozy Corner in Memphis. I’ve tried several of the sides here, so trust me when I tell ya, just order the beans, you won’t be disappointed. The mild sauce is the way to go, the hot is VERY HOT! As far as the meats go, my favorite are the rib ends, brisket, and ribs of course. The smoke sausage is good, and the smoked bologna rivals Central BBQ in Memphis. The place smells like a smokehouse because it is! Go to George’s, have some BBQ, and watch out for politicians, the capitol is right around the corner! And they know how good this place is."
