"A true gem in downtown OKC. Depending on the amount of traffic, the restaurant switches from a traditional wait to be seated to seat yourself. We went on a Sunday and got their special of a pound of wings + a pitcher of beer on tap, some mozzarella sticks and their Chicago deep dish. The wings were smokey and juicy, mozzarella sticks had the best cheese pull, and the pizza was the item that had me writing this review in the first place: SO delicious. Kid friendly, mom and dad approved. Will definitely be coming back when we're in the area."
"The garlic knots were heavenly. The atmosphere was great, the New York style pizza was just okay. It’s hard to make a true New York pizza so I’ll give ‘em credit. Our waiter was more than accommodating too. Overall this is a good spot to stop in for pizza and a beer. I’d recommend sitting at the bar if only a party of two."
"From the moment we walked into Rendezvous Pizza, the warmth of the atmosphere enveloped us, signaling the start of what was to be an exceptional dining experience. The star of the evening was undoubtedly the bartender, Kaden, whose friendly and personable demeanor made us feel like regulars, even on our first visit. His service was prompt, attentive, and infused with a kind of genuine cordiality that elevates a simple meal to a memorable occasion. Our culinary adventure began with an order of wings, a prelude to the main act. The BBQ whisky flavor was an instant hit at our table, with its smoky sweetness perfectly accentuating the juicy tenderness of the wings. Each bite was a testament to the kitchen's commitment to flavor and quality, setting the bar high for what was to come. The pizza, oh the pizza! As a connoisseur of the quintessential New York style pie, I was skeptical about finding authenticity in the heart of Oklahoma. Rendezvous Pizza, however, proved me delightfully wrong. The bacon chicken ranch pizza was a harmonious blend of creamy, zesty ranch, succulent chicken, and crispy bacon, all married atop a flawlessly baked crust that boasted a heavenly crunch on the edge and a soft, chewy foundation beneath the generous toppings. Not to be outdone, the Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza was a tropical twist that balanced the savory, smoky meat with the sweet, tangy fruit, ensuring each slice was a hotbed of contrasting yet complementary flavors. The pizzas were a testament to the mastery of the chefs, showcasing a perfect crust that was neither too thick nor too thin, with just the right amount of char to remind you of the bustling pizzerias lining the streets of New York City. Rendezvous Pizza has done the impossible: transported a slice of the Big Apple to Oklahoma, and done so with flair. For the ambiance, the top-notch service, and, most importantly, the divine pizza and wings, I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and drop in. Kaden and the team will ensure your experience is as memorable as it is delicious. Five stars simply don't do justice to Rendezvous Pizza—it's a must-visit establishment that I look forward to returning to."
"Pizza and ingredients were fresh and delicious, though I wasn't a complete fan of the crust. It was almost like a focaccia bread. Not bad, but just didn't work as well for me as i would have liked. I think that's more of an individual tastes and preferences thing. The sauce is on the side with the Detroit pizzas, not quite as pretty when you pour it over your pizza, but it tastes good. They weren't very busy when I was there, but perhaps they were understaffed as it felt like employees were either milling about chatting by the counter or practicing for Formula 1. I didn't even have a chance to ask a question or add on to my takeout order, the waitress was gone the moment I listed a pizza type and didn't come back until the pizza was done. Would have been nice to get my receipt and pay the bill in the 20 minutes I was there waiting for my pizza instead of having to call after and follow her as she zipped by and deposited my food to ask for the check. I wasn't at the bar or eating an appetizer or anything so it was just weird. I would eat the pizza again but honestly I felt like I was such an inconvenience to them that I can't imagine going back. I don't know if I had just missed the dining rush and they were totally frazzled or what but it was one of the odder and more disconcerting experiences I've had. No desire to experience it again when there's plenty of other pizza places in the area."
