"So I decided to make a special trip to this place because I had some family talk about how great it was. They told me not to go to the new location but to the original location which is this location... It's located in a storefront and parking is a little bit awkward and getting in and out can be a challenge. I went there with myself , a teenager, and my little one. When we first got there, it's very interesting setup. The tables are really interesting looking and they have these fold out things so they make them a little bit bigger. It kind of makes seating a little bit more awkward but I guess it works. When we got seated someone came up to take our order and I couldn't even really understand them. They weren't Vietnamese though, they were Hispanic and I did my best to give him the order that we wanted as challenging as it was. My daughter ordered a sweet tea... The server just shook his head. Yes okay and took the order and then we went ahead and I got the Pho Tai Nam, Pork Spring Rolls and 2 children soup and one with some meat... After about 10 minutes past someone else showed up and was seated next to us and saw that in order of fresh spring rolls that were pork came out straight to the table... After that our soups came up and they were served up to us... It took about another 5 to 10 minutes for the fresh spring rolls to come out after the soup... which I don't know. I kind of think someone else got them... The children's Pho noodles were absolutely terrible and brittle. The taste was disgusting and pretty much not edible... This only occurs if noodles have been setting out for a very long time... It tasted absolutely terrible because I always try my children's food... The meat that was in it tasted like Arby's roast beef... My Pho actually tasted really good and when the spring rolls did show up they were all right too. The pork that they put in the spring roll is a little charred which gives it some crunch and crispiness... People like that some people don't just be aware... One of the other children's noodle soup was fine... Which I don't understand how one can get screwed up and the other not? The lemon tea tasted like lime and when I tried it it was very overwhelming. You get your receipt when you go up to the register so it's not really clear if you should have that before you go or not but double check your receipt... The $3 tea was a specialty that I think the server didn't understand when my daughter just asked for a sweet tea. The person adding up my order wanted to argue with me about what sweet tea in America is... I Don't quite get it... The service absolutely terrible. The food overall I think average or below average. The environment - The table was super awkward. Bathrooms were average. The plus side they took away the tea that my kid couldn't even drink.. I honestly didn't care about the soup at this point and was good to leave..."
"Used to be Pho Hoa. Now it is Pho Lien Hoa. I am aware that it could be franchise issue or copy rights issue. The original pho Hoa. Is in VN. The portion in the us is getting too big, and this Lien Hoa is no exception! The Pho: Winter so the herbs are limited! The noodles. I can still smell the raw dough. Thus not fully cooked. The broth, not distinctive unique nor the way I remembered it! Will try again, because mostly it is in the heart of the Asian district where we go for Asian dry goods n spices!"
"We were visiting relatives in OKC around Christmas and ended up with some time to kill downtown, so we decided to try Pho Lien Hoa based on high Google reviews. The place was packed for lunch on a weekday, which was a good sign, The reviews were not wrong. The food was so delicious and comforting on a very cold and windy day, we left truly satisfied. The pork chop plate, the Pho, the fresh spring rolls, the service, and the atmosphere were all right on the mark."
"I honestly love this place for quick yummy pho. I always get the P11 and always love it! Spring rolls are also a must get with your pho. Only thing is it’s only cash in the restaurant. Very quick service and super friendly!"
"You come here for the food, not any sort of ambience! Customers are in and out constantly, they stayed busy the whole time I was there. I came around 12:30PM and left after about 45 minutes. I got the grilled shrimp and grilled pork vermicelli bowl ("bun") with egg rolls. It was definitely up there in the ranks for me, and I love authentic Vietnamese food!!! I will come back and try their pho!!!"
