10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu Altus, OK

"I rarely write reviews, but 10p Altus deserves my time to write one. I can't say enough good things about Jason and the group of awesome people that make up the heart of this gym. I was in town for a very short period, and I reached out as an absolute beginner and they welcomed me with open arms. I'm brand new to BJJ, but I've been to countless gyms, clubs, and social groups all over the world as I traveled for my job, and I can honestly say this is one of the best and most welcoming. My reasoning for wanting to get started was general fitness and self defense. Their 10th Planet system of BJJ is perfect for not only those, but also everything from social BJJ to competition. From the other reviews I knew how great Jason's coaching was, but what I was surprised by was how excellent the gym members were as well. Every one of them went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and that I understood everything that was going on as a brand new beginner. The amount of time they spent trying to help me make sure I completely got it was astounding. I couldn't have asked for a better introduction to the sport. The only downside is now that I'm home from my work trip, I've got to try to find a place that measures up."

"My daughter (well really all 4 of my kids, 2 of whom are autistic) absolutely love 10th Planet Altus. Jason and all his coaches are amazing with my kids. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. The goal is to have fun and learn how to defend yourself. I love the friendships that have formed and how well my kids are progressing in their chosen sport."

"YOUR LIFE GETS BETTER ONCE YOU’VE FOUND 10P ALTUS. This gym is a community and our fearless leader is Jason Greer. The atmosphere is “welcome to the family”, and if you’re looking for a diverse group of like minded individuals committed to making each other better, this is the place to invest yourself. Though there are separate sessions for kids, Adult Classes are all age friendly. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are, female or male, broken or healthy, there is a comfortable pace for you to learn how to defend yourself, and/or push your limits mentally and physically. Classes here are organized, motivating, and fun. 10/10 this place is a must whether you’re in Altus for a few years or a few months."

"Great place for education, motivation, and personal development. I have both of my boys at 10th Planet Jiu-jitsu in Altus and they love it. Jason is great with the kids along with the rest of the instructors. If my work schedule permitted I would take classes there as well. 10th Planet isn't just a gym, its a family."
