"This place was horrible all around. For starters, the cook was back and fourth in between checking customers out and cooking. Never seen a single pair of gloves worn. When it was time to cash out on my to go order, I handed the cook my debit card, when I noticed his hands were full of flour. I received my card back and had to disinfect it. I got home and really hoped the food was better than the so far experience. Opening my food, it didn’t smell like chicken and fish, which I ordered. The fish taste of pure flour and ocean. Not good at all. The chicken was so bland and as well, taste was sour and floury tasting. Idk it just didn’t sit well with me at all. I had red beans and rice and hush puppies for sides. Red beans and rice were good. Hush puppies texture was very doughy in the middle, but taste good. I do not recommend and will not return."

"The food here is phenomenal! They have a buffet or menu. Both an amazing choice. Their catfish strips are worthy of an addiction by themselves. I have not eaten anything yet I haven't liked and get something new every time I get to visit ! TRUE CAJUN COOKING!!"

"They've been at it for about 16 years now. The buffet disappeared at the onset of COVID but it's back now. I would definitely recommend going during peak hours to ensure everything is at its freshest, but even if you don't you'll still get a hot batch of catfish almandine brought out for you. Anything fried is a winner. The chicken is great, the okra is crunchy, and the catfish is incredible, but the seasoned breaded fried shrimp remains my favorite. As good as it's ever been, which is pretty darn good. Definitely worth a trip."
