Reviews of Imagine Early Education & Childcare of Tulsa
"This school was amazing to my 5 year old bout this summer. He had a hard time at first and the staff went above and beyond to make him feel comfortable. They are kind and always made me feel heard with anything I had concerns about. Definitely recommend them."
"This school has been AMAZING for my daughter. She has thrived, learned so much, and absolutely adores her teacher. I can quickly communicate with the teachers via the app, and every time I pick her up she is beaming and doing something fun. They have lots of family nights and activities to get the family involved. They helped us establish good potty training as well. The school is so fun on the inside too, with a kid sized working kitchen, bowling alley, science room, library, theater, gym, gardens, tennis courts, art room, and so much more. Fantastic school"
"Imagine is the best thing that has happened to my family! Everything about the school is perfect. The teachers are warm and welcoming to my daughter at at drop offs which helps my mama heart. The constant updates throughout the day on the app puts peace of mind that my daughter is doing well. Her teachers always give updates at the end of the day to let me know how she did. It’s also a bonus that they bring in dance and soccer for her to participate in! She is excited to go to school and has learned a ton since attending the past year. Just a few are her shapes, colors, letters and numbers. She has gained the confidence needed to thrive. The entire staff has excellent communication with always prompt replies to any questions. They all know the children and parent’s names. I’m pretty sure the director Karen is an angel and Ms. Dayami is one of the best teachers. My daughter is always excited to see her. I’ve been beyond impressed with this facility and know that anyone who chooses to place their child here will not once regret that decision. Thank you imagine for everything you do!"
"My kids enjoyed their time at this location. I always felt safe leaving my kids there and they learned so much. Their after school program is amazing! They include bowling, science, music, library, and cooking into their program. My kids always had a smile on their face when I picked them up because they enjoyed their activities and had wonderful teachers."
"I really wanted my child to go here starting 01/30. We went through 2 interviews over a month ago 01/13 and 01/18 and never even received the courtesy of a callback or an email as to whether she was accepted or not. I called a few times and was told her medical records had to go a director in another state. I was also told it can take up to 2 weeks. I called back and was told the assistant director was meeting with the off-site director and they'd follow up. They never did. That's absolutely unprofessional! Apparently, since she's mildly autistic, they had to try to find some reason not to take her, but legally they can't say "we don't want your autistic kid" because that's a ADA violation to not accept her based on that, so I guess they figure if we don't acknowledge her application and interviews, technically we didn't deny her, but I also understand that no answer is an answer, only they just didn't come out and say it. That's disgusting to treat a 3 year old that way. But, I will be filing a formal complaint against the facility with the state and federal government. My child deserves to be treated as any other child, but thank you for giving me my first experience of having my child being treated differently than neurotypical children because now I know how to handle that not everyone accepts all kids as they are. I now understand where and how kids learn intolerance for those who are different if daycares are treating kids different based on a medical diagnosis, then no wonder kids grow up to be intolerant of those who are different. At this point, I really don't want my kid around people who will openly treat my kid as if she doesn't belong. And my child will definitely not be any place where she isn't wanted. I recommend that you do better as humans first before you impart your biases on other kids thus creating more intolerance in the world. Update: So corporate said the director reached out and wasn't able to leave a message. The director said he called and left a message. So now they're lying and can't even get their stories straight. I never received anything a missed call or a message. The local Director confirmed that she was not accepted after looking at her medical record about her autism diagnosis and she wouldn't be a "good fit." Nothing in her history suggest violence, which is the only caveat to the ADA rule. So if you take other autistic kids, is it because they are white? Did you already meet the colored quota for autistic Black kids? Discrimination and indoctrination of hatred of those who are different is taught at a very young age, so no wonder kids still grow up with biases. I filed a DOJ complaint for an ADA violation because that's trash AF to deny a child services based on a medical diagnosis."
