"Back in August we had the chance to stay at this fabulous resort as part of our group spiritual retreat and let me just say that it was the best experience of our lives! I got to enjoy a suite with my little friend and her family who live in Texas! It was amazing getting away for a while. I was on the couch while her and her family were in the bedroom. The staff was so amazing! Accomodations provided by our leader were perfectly chosen! I am fond of this and hope to visit again in the future!"

"As members of the affiliated Runaway Bay Club, my girlfriend and I recently enjoyed a three day, birthday / get-away at the Tanglewood Resort. The staff at Tanglewood were all professional in appearance and friendly. The entire facility was very clean and well maintained. A well designed, three (3) pool area with multiple waterfalls was so enjoyable and relaxing. Views of the sunset over the lake from the tower lounge were spectacular and, food at the bar and restaurant was delicious with a variety of reasonably priced dishes on the menu. And, we also had a great time at the new indoor pool / jacuzzi complex and in the game room playing ping pong. Thank you to Tina (Executive Chef) and the entire staff at Tanglewood for making our stay so enjoyable."

"Overall a 3 star review. My wife and I have been coming for years and have seen things (good and bad) as changes have been made. The location is beautiful and very conveniently located. The staff / service is overall good but hit or miss at times. There was previously a steak restaurant, which we really enjoyed, but now there is a burger restaurant. The wait time was very long for what appeared to be only a few tables occupied. The quality of the food at dinner was awful. We actually just went elsewhere. Breakfast was a better experience as they had a Buffett. It is my hope that administration will see this as a suggestion for improvement, i would be surprised if other guests didn’t have similar feedback on the food. We truly enjoy our trips to Tanglewood and want to continue supporting this great facility."

"I have been to the 3 pools multiple times to enjoy swimming and sunning myself, You do have to check in with the front desk to be able to get a wristband for the pool. I've been to The Whiskey Bar, Tanglewood Bar and the Grill and Lakeside Restaurant. The food and drinks are great. The people are helpful. I personally haven't played golf here but I know people who have played here, who love it."

"This resort has so much potential but is sadly extremely disappointing in almost all areas. The staff are richly lacking in customer service from initial contact through check out. The supposed "fine dining with exclusive wine list" has a truck stop menu at best. We paid for a Villa and that was spacious and clean."
