"This is a working man's restaurant. If you're expecting a franchise store atmosphere and modernity, this is not it. Don't get me wrong, everything works, but understand that the location is in a heavily Industrial zone and most of the clientele was either a local worker or a truck driver. The food is excellent, appropriately sized and priced right. They have daily specials, if you eat here regularly. The service staff is friendly and accommodating. The restrooms are very clean. The major concern that you may have is that the restaurant needs an update to improve the atmosphere."

"The food was cheap and tasted cheap especially the bacon and sausage but it was also very nice and comforting. Big meal for 18.50 so not bad I would definitely come back for a nice cheap comfort meal but if I'm looking for rich deep flavor I'll have to go somewhere else."

"Quaint diner right next to 35, open 24 hours. I stopped by for dinner super late and ordered the smothered chicken breast with side of garlic toast, mashed potato with gravy and slaw. Chicken tasted good and the gravy in the potato was yum! Unfortunately the coleslaw was dry for me. Service was quick. They did have a good selection of pies and meringues."

"Got the catfish, wasn’t the worst I’ve had, but definitely needed some flavor. The staff was wonderful and went over and beyond. My hubby had the French toast, eggs etc. We are from out of town. Huge portions l, salad dressing was great, filled up on garlic toast, mashed taters, and fried okra. Thanks for your hospitality today. This place has a nostalgic vibe from my childhood, just how a diner should feel. This place has something for everybody. Definitely didn’t disappoint."

"Decent food … felt like I was in an episode of “Alice” (Mel’s Diner). Smells of smoke and has a smoking section too. Our waitress was great and very personable. We were the only people eating in the non smoking section."
