"Food is obviously prepared with care and experience, and also delicious. Casual atmosphere reminiscent of a church fellowship hall. Soul food appears to be the specialty but I got a cheeseburger and it was the best cheeseburger I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended! Note, a little hard to find the entrance as it’s on the paradise alley (north) side of the building."

"Used to eat their food when it was Uncle Buddy's food truck and was never disappointed, over here they kept the good flavors of their food. Sweet potatoes were delicious, fried pork chops and smothered pork chops were a hit as well"

"Delicious stop for lunch. The chicken fried steak sandwich and fried chicken sandwich were delicious and so fresh! Crispy and tasty batter and The owners and staff were kind and so appreciative of our business. We will be back sometime to try that breakfast menu! Note that it’s an out of the ordinary location down an alley - off the Main Street but totally worth the short walk from the parking by the steam engine/ train station."
