"Do not use this La Quinta in Clinton. I’ve stayed in several different Hotel in several different places. I would always stay in La Quinta until now. They overcharged my card and the wrong amount and acted like there was nothing they could do. The owner said her name was max and was ready to argue and not willing to be civil or professional. Very upsetting. I will never recommend this place again! ****response*** in response to below comment. the claimed owner and manager is still trying to argue! Wow. That is not all that transpired. You were unprofessional and hostile and I reacted. I told you I would never use your establishment again or ever recommend it and you said fine, that’s fine like you don’t care if you lose business over your mistreatment of guest! You argued and refused to do anything about your mistake! My money is held up for your mistake."
"My phone wouldn't let me make reservations, so I called in. The young lady who helped me was very helpful. Also told me what was around to do and eat. The rooms were nice and clean. Microwave and mini fridge. Nice walk-in shower in handicap room. Clean bathroom. They had a large store in the hotel, and it had everything from snacks, pops, water to frozen meals, and even magnets. They had a small and perfect bar inside here, and let me tell you, it was great just to sit and relax after driving from Arizona to Ohio. The young lady was great. Personable and very friendly. Her name was Bree, just like the cheese. Lol, and she made us smile and made our night. They had a continental breakfast also. We stayed for 2 nights because we wanted to go to the Lucky Star Casino that was close. We will be staying at these kind of hotels again. THANK YOU."
"We've stayed at this location several times on trips to see family in another state. Most recently, there was a big brown spider on the wall and something brown in the toilet that had been sitting there for awhile. Also, some of the lights didn't work in the room. The Continental breakfast that's included is hit or miss- I've had hard eggs, undercooked potatoes, and stale cereal. They do have a pool and have decent hours for the pool, as well they're pet friendly. They're not super far from things like food, gas & Walmart, but it does tend to smell like weed outside and that can be off putting."
"Oh man after a long day on the road this hotel was a breath of fresh air. The service was wonderful the room was clean and fresh and honestly it was exactly what we needed. They even got us a room on the first floor because of our dogs. I'm blown away with how amazing it was the pool was clean and my family loved it"
"Stopped here after driving for 15 hours and Bre (spelling?) at the front desk and bar made it feel like I was already home! On multiple occasions she was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. She is awesome. The handicap accessible room on the second floor was spacious and right next to the elevator, but the bed frame was broken and the bathroom had water on the floor. The button for the automatic door was tricky. There was also previous damage to the wall, ac unit, furniture and floor. This stay was only a night not long term so it was manageable. The establishment claims to be pet friendly but there was open space for them to get under the bed, so if your pet is skiddish, be prepared to get under there to retrieve them, or else you should keep them in the bathroom. I should mention that the tap water and subsequently the water served with breakfast was absolutely disgusting, literally the worst water I have ever tasted. It was like mildew and worn socks mixed together…. and the only bottled water available was 2$ each. So, stop for a pack of bottled water if you don’t want to gag brushing your teeth in the morning! But overall it was a quiet and clean establishment. Would recommend (if you’re already used to awful tap water lol)!"
